Chapter 99

"Tsk. You must really find me unattrac ... " Jennie couldn't complete her sentence because the moment she turned, she saw Lisa removing the towel from her body.

"Aaahhh, my eyes". Jennie ran into the bathroom and locked it. Lisa chuckled and tied the towel tightly around her body before turning away to wear the pyjamas.

Actually, she wasn't really removing the towel just now. It got loss and she merely wanted to tighten it from falling but Jennie didn't look well to notice that and screamed before running away. Lisa wore on the pyjamas pants and kept the top by the bathroom door before going out.

Jennie was copped up in the bathroom neither coming out nor bathing. If Lisa didn't leave, she surely wouldn't take her bath.

After making sure that Lisa was out, Jennie locked the door before returning to the bathroom. She picked the pyjamas top and murmured to herself 'At least she has some conscience still left'.

Jennie took a quick shower and wore the top before going out. She opened the door to the room and used the pillows on the bed to create a bridge on the bed separating hers and Lisa's side of the bed.

"Good job, if Lisa doesn't mind been shameless, then, I should protect myself. Now that my feelings are way out of control, if I don't take time, I might pounce on her. I am a human after all and still needs to be more reserved". Jennie said. Looking at the bed, she grinned satisfactorily and laid at one end laying prostrate watching the door.

After waiting for Lisa to enter after 30 minutes, she sighed and looked at the empty side of the bed murmuring 'Is she alright? She didn't look good today and I selfishly drove her away. Is she really going to sleep in the sofa?' As she contemplated, she heard the doorknob turning and she quickly closed her eyes, covering her body with the quilt.

Lisa entered the room speaking on phone to someone. She walked to the bed side and sat making the sheets to shriek with her presence. She spoke unhurriedly as she turned to look at the woman sleeping.

"Yes, check the files and send them to me. There seems to be something fishy about the whole project. I will follow up myself tomorrow. Alright, bye". Lisa finished and put the phone on the table and looked at the pillow bridge and chuckled. What a silly woman, She thought and laid on the bed without removing the pillows and closed her eyes.

Jennie could feel the silent breathing emanating from Lisa's breathe. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that Lisa was asleep. She pulled herself and leaned closer while saying to herself "Jennie, so much for wanting to create a distance. You are clearly the one overreacting in this situation. What is the difference between the house and here?"

Jennie stretched her hand murmuring "just a little, I will just touch you a little and admire you before I sleep". Jennie touched Lisa's forehead tracing her eyebrows. "You have such refined eyebrows, long lases. A pointed nose".

Lisa could feel a fire igniting within her as Jennie touched her carelessly. She composed herself trying not to open her eyes. She could feel Jennie's face close to her as she breathing brushed her face.

Jennie stopped at Lisa's lips and stared at them saying "Lisa is asleep, even if I touch them for a brief moment, it should be okay, right? It won't wake her up". Jennie looked at Lisa's face adding "I'm just going to taste it briefly and see how it feels. I promise, I won't mention this to you tomorrow or any other day. And I promise I won't ask you to take responsibility"
