For the last five years, this young master had buried herself in work and never attended any of the matchmaking sessions organised by the old master. The butler smiled and waited for them to go in first.
Lisa opened the door and walked in with Nini by her side. As they walked near, Lisa could hear the laughter of the old master and the voices of Irene and Leo.
Leo heard the footsteps and looked up and saw Lisa, his anticipation rose as he tried to see the girl behind Lisa. Leo had intentionally come to the family mansion after hearing that Lisa was coming with Jennie Kim. He wanted to make sure Lorca was telling the truth and also test the girl to find out if she remembered him.
On the other hand, Irene frowned after seeing Lisa's hand laced with Jennie. She glared at Nini and quickly looked away with a smile at Lisa saying
"Lisa, you're here? I almost thought you were not coming? Grandpa told us to wait because you were coming. Leo and I had no idea we would meet you here, what a pleasant surprise"
Leo put his arm on Irene's shoulder intimately and also added his piece "Yes, Irene is right. We came to visit grandpa and he told us you were coming?" Leo looked at Jennie curiously and asked "Who is this by the way?"
Jennie looked at Leo and frowned and asked "Lili, shouldn't we at least sit before they start talking? Isn't it rude to start a conversation one-sidedly without giving us a break? I almost thought they were reciting a script"
The old master turned and looked at Jennie and laughed heartedly and spoke "You're a quirky one, aren't you? Come and sit down, child".
Leo and Irene forced a smile as they watch Jennie sit by the old master. Lisa took a seat at a single sofa far from Leo and Irene and spoke to his grandfather.
"Grandpa, how is your health?"
"Oh, I'm doing well". The old master looked at Jennie and asked "how are you doing little girl?"
"I'm happy".
