Like rain on a sunny day, it hit me I had no idea where I was and now I sat there wondering how and why Ace was talking to the doctor who had told me I was pregnant. Much to my relief I was able to understand the language, Italian they were speaking in due to me taking it back in highschool. I was the only student who took the class and quite often people would make fun of me because of that but I never truly cared and now it was going to save my life.

"Ce I'ho qui capo vieni il prima possibile" she said but I couldn't hear his response since the call wasn't on speaker and she was trying her hardest to be discreet.{Translation:"l have her right here boss just come as soon as possible"}

I wanted to run as fast as I could but my body wouldn't even let me get up from the bed meaning I am stuck here and I might aswell just pray to God that I can escape with my babies and let them live a normal life even if it means growing up without a father. Though I wanted it to different but under the circumstances there's nothing I can do. I would never wish for my babies to grow up without a father figure like I did, and I wish things could be different for them but really there's only so little I can do.

"I have to go someone just got shot and needs my help but I will be back to check up on you in a few hours," she said and I nodded in response. As soon as she was out of view I let out a breath of relief.

'Finally she's gone,this my cue to leave' I thought to myself.

After many attempts, I managed to get up from the bed but I still felt weak as if at any given moment my body was going to give up on me completely. As I walked through the hallways, there was a lot of havoc and chaos going on. Nurses and doctors were screaming orders as more men with blood entered the building. I used this distraction as a way to escape and it worked. I had no idea now that I had successfully escaped what my next move was. The building that I was in looked like some warehouse which was in between a forest and because I needed to go as far as possible, I began walking off to God knows where.

I walked for a couple of minutes until my body decided to give up on me. The accident really did some damage to my body and the pregnancy wasn't helping the situation.

Much to my relief my body stopped moving when I was at the side of the road and if I were lucky enough someone would stop to help me. I sat on the side of the road for 10 minutes until a car finally passed through and I screamed on the top of my lungs so whoever was driving could hear me.

The black Mercedes Benz came to a halt just near where I sat down. A man in a black suit that constricted his body, brown hair that complimented his hazel eyes and a sharp jawline stepped out of the car. I stared at him as he reached his hand out for me which I grabbed without hesitation and he helped me get into the back of his car.

"What were you doing by the side of the road all alone with so many injuries and cuts on you?," He asked turning to me for a split second before redirecting his attention back to the road.

"I-I d-don't know." I struggled to let out.

"Of course you know, don't be shy after all I'm your knight in shining armour, you could have slept there, not a lot of people use this road and it's not everyday you'll encounter someone as kind as myself." He said and I let out a sigh when I realized not only was he right but he deserved to know after saving me.

"I nearly got killed in a car accident and when I woke up I was in a shady warehouse which I managed to escape from but due to the many injuries, my body gave up on me the last second just by the side of the road." I said fiddling with my fingers in my lap.

"I'm sorry that happened to you, but what makes you think you nearly got killed?" He asked.

"Well the car advanced towards me in speed and was in my lane," I said.
