Brian bolted towards Slick and the black suited criminals with sticky bombs generating in the palms of both his hands. He was running towards them so fast that his jacket almost blew off in the winds of the night. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO WITH JESSICA?!?!" Brian angrily shouted as he charged towards them at full speed. "Brian wait!" Timothy yelled quickly, as he noticed Slick's confidence, but Brian was too blinded by rage to react.

A mere second afterwards, Slick swiftly pulled out his pistol from the inside of his vest, his finger pressed against the trigger. In the blink of an eye, Slick smirked and aimed the gun directly at Brian, stopping him in his tracks.

Without warning, Slick took the shot. The flash of the gunshot was brighter than Timothy's light, and the dark empty street was filled with the sound of a loud "BANG!" Brian instantly dropped to the ground and his sticky bombs retracted.

Everything had gone silent as Timothy's heart had completely stopped as he saw his friend instantly drop upon seeing the gunshot. "BRIAN!!!" Timothy screamed, his cry echoing loudly throughout the empty street.

Brian, holding his right leg tightly, grunted in agony. Blood was leaking from a small hole in part of his calf, where he had been shot. Blowing the smoke from his pistol, Slick looked down at Brian and said, "Too easy," with a cocky smirk and an eyebrow raised.

Out of nowhere, three more black suited criminals tackled Timothy from behind, slamming him face first onto the sidewalk. They were all holding him down by the back of his arms and legs, pinning him to the ground. Timothy, slowly lifting his face off the ground, glared up at Slick with a pissed off expression as blood dripped from his nostrils.

Slick tucked his gun back into his vest, and began to monologue once more, "You should've known that I had more than just these four gentlemen with me. I mean, for such promising future heroes, of course I'd have some extra back up with me. You see, unlike most bad guys you may have went up against, I'm not underestimating you two at all. Just like how I didn't underestimate your friend Jessica when I sent my guys to kidnap her earlier today. I knew these guys alone wouldn't be enough to capture her with the potential of her plant power, so I sent someone special to the job. And seeing as you boys ain't getting up anytime soon, I guess I can tell you exactly how it happened."

Earlier that day.....
Birds were chirping, the sun in the cloudless sky was beaming, and Jessica was wowing the people at the city's main park with her skateboarding skills. The park was very large, including four small playgrounds at each corner of the park, a huge water fountain at the very center, and not too far away from the fountain was the skate park section.

With her black and white skateboard and helmet, Jessica performed seemingly impossible tricks and stunts with zero effort. Often met with, "How is that humanly possible?" or "How long did it take you to learn that?" by the bystanders watching, Jessica only improved her performance with each passing minute.

On her way back down one of the ramps, Jessica smirked and said to herself, "It's time for the grand finale," as she began skating back up the opposite side of the ramp. Going up the ramp at high speed, Jessica prepared herself for the mid air, kick flip.

As soon as she flew up the ramp and reached minimal airtime, Jessica's showoff grin changed drastically, as the sound of a deafening gunshot rang out across the entire park. Immediately upon hearing it, all of the people in the park, including Jessica's audience, screamed and fled away from the scene as fast as humanly possible. They didn't want to take their chances considering how loud and nearby the shot had sounded.

Jessica, startled by the shot while in mid air, had a crash landing during her final stunt. Instead of landing back down on her skateboard smoothly, she slipped on it and it sent her rolling down the ramp with her skateboard landing on top of her. "Darn it," she said to herself in annoyance. She then proceeded to stand up, dust herself off, grab her skateboard, and began her walk out of the park.

"Like, that was so unnecessary," Jessica thought to herself while making her way out of the park. "Who freaking fires a gunshot in the middle of the day at the most famous park in the city? A city full of heroes! Whoever did it was an idiot! Totally ruined my wicked stunt man," she continued saying to herself.

Before Jessica could leave the park though, she was stopped in her tracks upon what she saw up ahead. From the distance, she seen two black cars driving into the large grass area of the park. The cars illegally drove into the park's grass area slowly, parking not too far ahead of Jessica.

Right after they stopped, a group of eight black suited criminals in total ran out of the two cars. They were all running as fast as humanly possible, and it seemed they were all heading right for Jessica. And each of them were armed with deadly, large machetes. "Welp, this isn't how I wanted to start my afternoon," Jessica thought to herself, preparing for the incoming attack.
