A half an hour had gone by since the destruction took place. Police, news reporters, and other pro heroes later arrived to investigate the major scene that took place. Eleven dead bodies were found in the pile of leftover rubble. Three of those bodies belonged to pro heroes and the remaining eight were innocent bystanders. "Damn it! If only...I had been there," said one of the pro heroes with a tear strolling down their cheek. "It's alright. No need to beat yourself up about it. These kinda things happen in a society like this," one of the officers replied.
As they were talking, the other officers handcuffed Corpse Slayer and escorted him into a nearby cop truck. Corpse Slayer was still paralyzed of fear from what he had witnessed earlier. As for Lucas, he was nowhere in sight. He vanished immediately after causing the massive explosion in the sky. And, Meat Grinder's body was not found after the scene. But police speculated that his body had been perished due to the reports of citizens who witnessed everything from inside local buildings and houses. But one thing was certain. Despite the collateral damage done to the small part of the city, Lucas was deemed a hero from the local civilians inside of the corner store Lucas dropped Timothy's unconscious body off at. A hero for stopping the wanted, genocidal murderers known as Corpse Slayer and Meat Grinder.

A few hours later, the sun had began to set and the evening moon began to rise. Timothy had slowly started to open his eyes after regaining consciousness. When he finally opened his eyes, he realized that he was in a hospital bed. He was hooked up to a heart monitoring machine and his head was wrapped in bandages. "Owww, my head hurts," Timothy said to himself as he tried to sit up.
Suddenly, Timothy saw Brian's head peek through the window of the hospital room door. "Timothy's awake!" Brian yelled down the hall. All of a sudden, Brian, Jessica, and Timothy's mother all bursted through the door and ran to Timothy, hugging him immediately.
"Oh thank goodness, you're alright!" Timothy's mom said while tearing up, holding him tightly.
"Gotta be careful lil dude, I don't wanna lose you!" Jessica exclaimed as a tear ran down her face.
Timothy replied, "Thank you guys, but I'm alright, really."
Immediately, Brian's face then lit up and he turned to Timothy's mom. "Show him the surprise!" Brian eagerly said. "Oh yeah! That's right!" Mrs. Rivera replied. Without hesitation, Timothy's mom reached into her purse and pulled out a letter with a note attached. As soon as she handed it to Timothy, he felt as if he was about to cry tears of joy. It was a letter from The Mastery Professional Hero Academy for tryouts.
And the note attached read, "Dear Timothy, if you wouldn't have bravely acted and distracted that criminal, I wouldn't have ever saw my family again. You saved my life. I'm currently now retired after realizing that this hero job wasn't for me. I was coward back there, leaving you to die as I ran away crying my eyes out. Some pro I was, so don't thank me for this. But, for my last act as a pro hero, I've decided that without a doubt you definitely deserve a tryout application to become a future pro hero. Stay brave and strong Timothy. I believe that you can become an awesome hero one day. Sincerely yours, former pro hero Hydro."
After reading, Timothy smiled and tears bursted out of his eyes as everyone else comforted him with tears in their eyes as well.
