Within the school hallways outside of the gymnasium, Timothy and Lucas continued walking in search of the bathrooms.

There were no other students in the hallways besides the two of them. Lucas walked casually while Timothy had his head down with his hands in his pockets. Neither one of them were saying anything.

To break the silence, Lucas turned to Timothy and asked, "So.. what troubles you my friend?" Looking down at the floor with a blank expression, Timothy murmured in response, "My whole life pretty much."

Seconds went by before he continued speaking. "My whole life, I never believed in my power. Because of it, I always saw myself as nothing compared to Brian and Jessica. They would always say that I deserved a better power. They were wrong. My powers deserved a better me all this time."

Confused, Lucas questioned, "What do you mean?" Timothy took a deep breath and stopped walking, placing his hands on his hips. "To put it short, I found out that I haven't been using my power to it's full potential. Guess you guys really did deserve to underestimate me."

Seeing how upset Timothy was, Lucas walked up and placed his hand on his shoulder. "I do not underestimate you. And it is never too late to see the full extent of your inner power," Lucas explained to him.

However, the expression on Timothy's seemed to worsen. He was holding back his tears. "I.. I appreciate your encouragement Lucas. Really, I do. But.."

Timothy then softly removed Lucas's hand from his shoulder. "You don't have to lie to me. I know you underestimate me Lucas, but that's okay. I'd do the same thing if I were in your shoes."

Looking puzzled, Lucas replied, "What do you mean? I do not underestimate you." Timothy then looked up and looked directly at Lucas, seemingly frustrated.

"Lucas. Yesterday at tryouts, I know what you did," Timothy said. A faint look of surprise filled Lucas's cold eyes. He said nothing in response.

Timothy chuckled and continued, "I mean c'mon man. I'm not that dumb. I don't think it's just a coincidence that you happened to face the exact guy you wanted vengeance against, but even before that, I ended up facing who you knew would be the safest opponent possible for me. That being Brian. You probably used your telekinesis and invisibility to sneak into the press box and swap the matchups."

Lucas remained silent, as his expression alone described his current feelings. Immeasurable guilt and regret.

"Timothy. I.." "It's okay Lucas. Really," Timothy explained, expressing much more regret. "All I ask, is that for our upcoming match.. you give it all you got," Timothy declared to Lucas.

Upon hearing that, Lucas's finger twitched. He had opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, he stopped himself. A silent nod to Timothy's declaration was Lucas's only reaction.

Timothy nodded back, wearing a serious glare, as he and Lucas continued walking.

Back inside the gym...

The fifth match was now set to begin. On the far left side of the battlefield stood Jessica, stretching her arms with a confident smirk across her face.

"Kick his ass Jess!" Brian shouted down at her from the top of the balcony. The cheer made Jessica crack up. She shouted back up at him, "Dude! Stop making me laugh! I'm trying to focus ha ha!"

Over on the opposing side of the battlefield, Noah Ramos calmly stood with his hands in his hoodie pockets. The youngest member of the class, and deemed the most attractive guy in the entire school.
