After momentarily escaping the cops, Slick took the nearest exit off of the highway. Having just landed in the passenger seat, Brian quickly attempted to get up and attack Slick despite his injuries.

A mere second before he could touch him, Slick instantly aimed his gun at Brian whilst still driving. "I wouldn't boy. With those injuries, you wouldn't want anymore of your blood pouring out right now, or a bullet in your little damn skull," Slick said as an eerie shadow from his fedora covered half his face. Brian gritted his blood red teeth and gripped the seat in frustration, all while giving Slick a death stare.

The struggling in the backseat had also seemed to settle as Timothy's body stopped glowing, and the three black suited criminals maintained their grasp on him. The rest of the drive to Slick's hideout remained silent as both Brian and Timothy were powerless in the scary situation.

About 5 minutes later, they arrived at a sketchy looking neighborhood. The road and sidewalks were cracked, the moonlight had barely reached the shadows of this specific area of the city, and all the houses appeared to be in extremely poor condition. They all seemed abandoned. "Alright, here we are now," Slick said as he pulled up to the hideout house. As Slick turned his key to shut off the vehicle, a sudden blinding beam of light shined from the backseat of the car, lighting up the entire dark area of the neighborhood.

Shielding his eyes from the bright light, Slick yelled, "God damn it!! What the fu-" before he could finish, Brian punched Slick in his lower jaw off the light distraction. This stunned Slick, allowing Brian to quickly swipe Slick's pistol right out of his hand and toss it out the passanger side window, hopping out the car himself in the process.

But as soon as Brian got out, he collapsed onto his knees. His shot leg was thriving in pain along with the rest of his severe injuries. Immediately afterwards, the backseat car door swung open, and out Timothy ran, having successfully freed himself from the three criminals. They all seemed to be passed out in the backseat.

Right after he got out of the car, Timothy ran to Brian with tears forming in his eyes, but kept a determined face. "Brian! Big bro!! Please!! Don't move anymore!! You need a doctor now!! Those injuries -" "NO!!! T....Timothy I'm fine!!" Brian interrupted as a small stream of blood leaked from his mouth. "Timothy, I need you to hurry up and carry me over to the front door of the hideout!! Now!! The door might be locked and Jessica's somewhere inside!!! If...if I can j...just get to the door..." Brian said hyperventilating. He was out of breath.

With that, Timothy wiped his tears, put Slick's gun away in his jacket, and picked Brian up in a fireman's carry. Using his light to guide him in the darkness of the place, Timothy ran from the car to the front door of the hideout with Brian on his shoulders, setting him down to quickly bomb open the door. "Thanks lil bro...now listen. Once I set this bomb on the door, p...pick me back up and step away. I'll set it for 25 seconds just to be safe." With that, on one knee, Brian quickly placed his hand on the door, but nothing happened. Something was wrong. Brian's bloodshot eyes had widened. "What's wrong?" Timothy anxiously asked. Brian looked back towards the car and said, "My powers...they aren't working..."

"Har har har," a sarcastic soft chuckle sounded from inside the car. Then, Slick slowly got out the vehicle and slowly closed the car door with a creepy grin. Sweating and trembling, Timothy quickly pulled out the gun and yelled, "What the hell is so funny?!! I got your weapon, so stop right there!!!" But Brian grabbed Timothy by his pants leg to stop him. Brian then gritted his teeth and said, "Timothy, I'm sorry, this is all my damn fault, that bastard is smiling because he knows you won't kill him. You have a good heart. And also, he's smiling because my dumbass let him get my damn powers!"

Making his way over to the doorstep where Brian and Timothy were, Slick began to clap his hands slowly. It was as if each footstep synced perfectly with his clap, echoing throughout the quiet neighborhood. "See? I knew you were such a clever boy Brian. Although I gotta admit, punching me in the jaw with a bloody fist wasn't the smartest choice bastard. Tasted like blood type O positive. Awww c'mon, don't look scared now, you boys are some real fighters that's for sure. Anyways, let me test out this new power...."

All of a sudden, a sticky bomb began to slowly generate in Slick's left hand. And on top of that, the three black suited criminals were now conscious and making their way out of the car and towards Timothy and Brian as well. Timothy was now shaking badly. His anxiousness was getting to him.

Seeing this, Slick smirked and said "You don't gotta keep that poker face on boy. I know terror when I see it. Timothy, that was your name right? I heard about your little incident with Corpse Slayer and Meat Grinder. Must've been horrifying, seeing dead corpses for the first time. Being on the brink of death for the first time. That's the trauma of playing hero. But that trauma won't change who you are. You're still a coward, you hesitant little bitch boy. But Brian on the other hand, you're looking a little less scared ha ha."

Smirking back at Slick with a bloody and bruised smile, Brian replied, "Oh I wasn't scared for me, I was scared for your little friends in the backseat of your car. But now that they're out of the car and coming towards us too, I won't have to worry about them getting blown to bits. That wouldn't be very heroic of me...."

Instantly, a loud beeping was heard, and immediately following it was a massive explosion. The sticky bombs Brian set earlier finally went off and blew up the car in a terrifying, fiery explosion, and it shook an entirety of five city blocks.
