After everything that had happened today, it was finally around midnight. The local highway was busy as always. Loud horns, speeding cars, and headlights that illuminated the night dark road. And under this busy highway lied the heavily injured Caspian, trying to sleep on the small land part of the lake under the bridge.

He was covered in newspapers, his clothes were all shredded, and dry blood along with wounds were all over his body. He was shivering from the night's cold breeze despite sleeping in the broken down cop car. The second officer's body was also washed up on the small shore. Caspian said to himself, "I guess this is what I deserve for causing havoc all over the city. I thought it was fun, and look where that got me. I don't even know how I got to this point. No food, no water, no shelter, no friends, and no parents."

Caspian knew that he would die if he remained under the highway. But he couldn't go out in the open since the entire police force was after him after civilians on the highway earlier reported the incident immediately upon sight. If he gets caught in the future, he could be executed if the police force finds out that he murdered two officers. Caspian said to himself, "I can't stay out here. I'll die anyways. So I have no choice." Caspian got up off of the cold, hard seat of the destroyed cop car and searched for shelter.

He had to try his best to stay hidden while searching. But a few minutes later, he would regret his decision. A bright beam of light from the sky was shining onto him. When he saw the light, he froze in terror. Caspian slowly turned his head to look up, only to be met with an unpleasant surprise. It was a police helicopter. The loud speaker on the helicopter announced, "WE SPOTTED THE TARGET!!!"

Suddenly, loud gunshots were heard as bullets were fired at Caspian. Caspian was tearing up and running as he could to not get shot. Before he could get far, a bullet had gone through his left leg. He screamed in agony, but he didn't stop running. Adrenaline was keeping him going. In the distance, he spotted sewer grate on the side area under the bridge. The helicopter was rapidly catching up to him so he had no choice.

Without hesitation, he quickly turned the grate to dust so he could enter the sewer. The helicopter speaker announced, "WE LOST THE TARGET!!! WE'LL GET HIM NEXT TIME!!!" Caspian was both relieved and in excruciating pain. But he had to make his way through the dark sewer with a bullet wound in his left leg. So, he began limping as he made his way through the darkness.

One painful hour later, Caspian saw moonlight up ahead in the sewer. He was extremely exhausted. But he couldn't have been happier to see some light. He slowly climbed up a sewer ladder in pain and dusted the grate. When he peeked from out sewer, he saw a large, creepy abandoned mansion on the top of a hill nearby. He said to himself, "I've.......found.....shelter."
