As soon as Caspian went up to the side of the mansion, he instantly dusted a small hole through the wall and entered. He got inside just in time considering a storm was starting.
Once he got inside, he said to himself, "Why is it so dark and cold in this stupid, abandoned mansion?" Caspian couldn't stop shivering from the cold as he limped down the dark mansion hallways, leaving a trail of blood behind him. His left leg was in excruciating pain from the bullet wound. As he began looking around the mansion, he sensed a presence. It was as if this dark mansion wasn't abandoned after all.
Suddenly, Caspian heard the sound of light footsteps from the second floor of the quiet mansion. Caspian said to himself, "I guess this place isn't abandoned after all. Whoever it is, I'll kill them." Quickly, Caspian scurried up the main stairs of the mansion and down the second floor hall to find the person responsible for the footsteps. The farther Caspian limped down the hallway, the darker it became. It became too dark to even see.
Eventually, the bullet wound in Caspian's leg began hurting badly again, causing him to trip up and fall flat on his face. After that, everything had gone silent. It was as if the storm outside had stopped. Caspian couldn't even stand. He didn't even feel like he was in the hallway anymore. The only thing Caspian saw was pure darkness. He was inside an empty, silent void.
All of a sudden, the empty void was illuminated by the loud strike of lightning from the closest window. And when the lightning flashed, Caspian was horrified to see the white face of an emotionless ghost appear in the darkness.
Without hesitation, Caspian gasped, turned around, and dashed down the dark hallway. Caspian couldn't feel any pain due to the absolute terror he was feeling in his entire body. Tears strolled down Caspian's face as objects began flying towards him from behind. "I'M SORRY!!!! I'M SORRY!!!!!," Caspian cried.
At this rate, Caspian knew that he wouldn't be able to escape down the long dark hallway, so he entered the closest room he could find. Caspian quickly bolted inside the room, only to trip onto a large pile of old doll heads. At the same time, Caspian heard the footsteps get louder and louder as the storm shook the mansion. At that moment, Caspian realized he had no choice but to hide himself in the pile of doll heads.
Within seconds, Caspian heard the footsteps inside of the room with him. While Caspian was hiding under the doll heads, a bunch of roaches crawled out of one of the empty heads and onto Caspian's face. But, Caspian couldn't make a sound, so he couldn't do anything about it or he'd be done for. Unexpectedly, Caspian's level of fear and terror was so high that it caused his power to activate and turn the dolls to dust, revealing himself to the ghost. In that moment, Caspian's horrified eyes made direct contact with the ghost's light blue, greenish eyes.
