Eventually, all three of them were towering over Slick. He desperately attempted to free himself from the vines around his arms and get up, but to no avail. In all the while, Brian kept the gun aimed down at him, not letting his eyes off Slick at all. Jessica and Timothy also gave Slick a cold, pissed stare as they stood beside Brian.
"You know, seeing all this blood on my floor......brings back bad memories. You kids sure gave me one hell of a beating, and for what? A ghost kid's powers? I'll admit my greed got the best of me. So, you can lower that damn gun now, not like you were going to use it anyways," Slick said as he settled down. Brian, barely standing, cautiously lowered the gun. Everything then remained silent as Timothy got his phone out to call the police. Noticing this, Slick's eyes widened and quickly grew angry. "NO!!!", Slick yelled loudly, startling the three of them.
All of a sudden, footsteps were heard from behind Timothy, Jessica, and Brian. They all swiftly turned around, gasping upon sight. It was the three black suited criminals, slowly walking through the second floor door way into the room, and each of them had their machetes out. Parts of their black suits were torn from the car explosion, showing small portions of their real faces and bodies. "Damn it!", Brian thought to himself, barely gritted his bloody teeth. Jessica and Timothy felt their stomachs drop when they saw the criminals, feeling the hope leave their souls. Slick instantly smirked in relief, as by now, he knew he had won. Or, so he thought, as his ear picked something up.
"Hey, do y'all fellas hear a helicopter sound coming from outside the hideout, or is it just me?", Slick confusingly asked out loud. The mere second Slick finished his sentence, a chilling rattling noise sounded like it was coming up the stairs. Hearing this, everyone looked over at the doorway leading to the staircase. In the blink of an eye, a large, black chain slithered into the room and wrapped around one of the black suited criminals' ankles from out of seemingly nowhere. Without a second to react, the thick chain tightened, brutally yanking the criminal out of the room and down the stairs by their ankle. "The hell!?," said Slick with a pissed off expression as everyone else looked around the room spooked.
Two more chains eventually came flying through the second floor doorway, instantly wrapping another one of the black suited criminals' entire bodies tightly in the black, steel chains. They were then yanked down the shadows of the stairway as well.
Before anything else, the remaining criminal tried to ignore what they had just witnessed and refocused themselves. Then, without hesitation, the criminal bolted over to save Slick from the three kids, tightening their grasp on the their machete. But, before they could reach Slick and the kids, an entire section of the second floor wall began crumbling down as eight, gigantic dark chains broke through and clenched onto each limb of the black suited criminal, yanking them outside through the massive hole in the wall.
Terrified, Jessica and Timothy quickly ran over to look through the large hole in the hideout wall. As soon as they gazed outside, their jaws dropped. It was no other than the number eight hero of the entirety of the United States, Pokerolli.
(Picture of Pokerolli)Standing menacingly outside of Slick's hideout stood the seven foot tall Pokerolli. With his large sword on his back and dozens of his black chains floating ominously around him made him one of the most intimidating heros there was. "Ohhhhhh myyyyy. Gosh, don't struggle now, it's getting me turned on. OHHHHH YESSSSSS!!!!", Pokerolli moaned in excitement. His chains began to tighten around the black suited criminals as he kept them levitated and gasping for air. It wasn't too long before Timothy and Jessica's joy and relief to see the hero switched to a look of being mildly concerned.
Hearing the commotion, Brian also gazed over at what was happening outside. With the slight distraction, Slick quickly reached back and grabbed his knife from his back pocket, freeing his arms from the small vines. He then quickly kicked Brian in the shin, managing to get up and swipe his gun back in the process. Jessica and Timothy noticed this and attempted to go after him, but instead, they ran to help Brian, seeing the excruciating pain he was in on the ground. Slick quickly shot the boarded up window leading to the backyard, breaking it open. But before he hopped out, he glanced back at Brian one last time as his friends were helping him up. "You may have gotten the upper hand this time. But next time won't be so lucky. Watch your back kids," Slick ominously declared as he hopped out into the backyard, seemingly vanishing from the scene.
At this point, Brian's consciousness was quickly fading in Timothy and Jessica's arms. His rush of adrenaline had finally seemed to be giving out and the blood loss was heavily affecting him. But before passing out, Slick's words rang out over and over in Brian's head. Just like that, the hard fought fight had finally concluded.
