Moments after departing Lucas's mansion, Timothy and Jessica began to make their way to the hospital to visit Brian. The more they walked, the more the beaming sun caused them to sweat. "Jeez man, the sun is trying to kill us today dude," Jessica said to Timothy whilst fanning herself.

"Don't worry. We're about to be at the main city park which means we're only a half a mile away from the hospital," said Timothy optimistically. Though, he was drenched in sweat as well. Jessica sighed and slightly grinned from Timothy's optimism. "I guess man. Wish I would've brought my skateboard though dude."

Soon enough, they were at the park. To their surprise however, there was a small crowd of people surrounding the statue in the center of the park. The statue was a tall monument of the Moonshine City founder. Jessica looked over to Timothy and said, "Dude, let's take a quick break from walking and check this out dude. It could be some radical celebrity standing in front of the statue of something. That'd be like, wicked sick." Timothy shrugged and replied, "Sure, let's check it out."

As the two started making their way over, they started to hear someone shouting. Timothy had looked up, as it sounded like it was coming from up high. And to his surprise, his ears weren't deceiving him.

There was a boy that looked to be about he and Jessica's age, standing on the shoulder of the statue. He was hanging on by the neck of the founder statue. The boy wore a grey tuxedo with a long, red cape attached. If anything, he looked as if he was boasting about something in an egotistical fashion.

As his hair and cape blew dramatically in the sudden winds, the boy announced to the people below, "Behold dear citizens! For as I, the great and almighty Maxwell, has received an invitation to the Mastery Academy! Though it is long overdue, I have finally received what I so greatly deserve!" Maxwell then pulled out a letter whilst staring down at the confused citizens intensely.

Seeing this, Jessica quietly said to Timothy, "Jeez, and I thought I was a showoff." Hearing that made Timothy chuckle a bit, which had caught Maxwell's attention.

Suddenly, Maxwell pointed down to Timothy and loudly said, "Hey you! Yes you! What is so very funny?!" This startled Timothy who looked embarrassed about getting called out so intensely.

"Oh uh, I'm sorry," Timothy stuttered as his face turned red. However, Jessica smirked and shouted up, "Nothing at all dude! Just keep doing what you're doing man! You're doing great!" Jessica and Timothy had both then started giggling. Then another person started laughing along with them. Eventually, the entire small crowd was now laughing.

"HEY! HEY! WHAT ARE YOU ALL LAUGHING AT?!?" Maxwell yelled in frustration. Still laughing, the crowd of people began to walk away, including Timothy and Jessica. Leaning more forward on the statue, Maxwell shouted, "HEY! WHERE DO ALL YOU IMBECILES THINK YOU'RE GOING?! HEY I'M SPEAKI-" All of a sudden, Maxwell's hand had slipped off the neck of the statue. He instantly started falling whilst screaming in a feminine voice. Glancing back, Jessica had saw this happen in real time.

In what seemed like slow motion, Jessica bolted back and quickly pulled her right glove off her hand, slamming her palm onto the grass below. Right in the nick of time, large vines sprouted from the ground below the falling Maxwell, just barely catching him before he hit the ground.

As his heart raced from nearly dying, sweat poured down his face. But, Maxwell closed his eyes and simply smirked it off. "I merely did that on purpose. Somebody as great as I does not need saving," Maxwell pouted while hanging in the air via the of the vines.

Jessica rolled her eyes and replied, "Yeah, yeah. Just be careful next time dude." Timothy ran up to Jessica with a relieved expression and said to her, "Wow! Nice catch! That was a close one!"

Maxwell pouted once more and sulked, "You don't deserve my gratitude. I could have saved my self just fine. Behold!" Right after saying that, Maxwell's entire body suddenly began to sprout and grow larger, breaking through the vines wrapped around him.

Timothy and Jessica took a step back in shock, seeing as Maxwell was now the size of the statue. "Welp, I guess that explains how he got on the statue in the first place," said Timothy who was slightly nervous.

Towering over the both of them, Maxwell stood full of pride and confidence with a cocky smile. He then struck a pose. His eyes closed, he placed his right hand was on his chest, and his left on his hip. His cape was flowing majestically in the winds as his confident grin grew larger. And now, announcing in a much louder and commanding voice, the gigantic Maxwell declared, "I shall take no further pity from the both of you! For you see, I am a giant, almighty beacon of greatness. A sexy beast among men and Gods. The future number one hero who will bathe in a shower of public affection each and every day. "

"Oh brother," Jessica groaned as Timothy was trying to hold back his laughter. After his brief declaration, Maxwell began to sweat intensely while barely maintaining his cocky grin.

"Uh, are you alright man?" Jessica asked, looking a bit concerned. "I told you I do not need your lesser pity! My my, you regular humans are so very unintelligent. I have-" as he was talking, he began to shrink back down to his regular size.

"And before any of you say a word, I shrunk by choice. This was in no way, shape, or form any kind of limitation of my power. Someone as great as I can't have a limit. Once again, completely by choice."

Jessica nugged Timothy, insinuating that they had to hurry up to go visit Brian. Timothy looked at her and nodded, before turning to Maxwell. He smiled and said, "Look, it's been a great, uh chat, but we have to go, so, uh, bye now. And congratulations on the letter!" They both then began to walk away. "Later dude!" said Jessica as they were leaving.

"HALT!" shouted Maxwell, stopping the two of them in their tracks as they turned back to him. Maxwell cleared his throat and announced to both of them, "I can see it in the look in those eyes of yours. That's right, I can tell... that you two also strive to be as almighty as I. And though that is impossible, I, the great and amazing Maxwell, has decided to train you both to become fine heroes. For I pity you two. Though you will never be as great as I, you can always settle for being second best after all!"

Overwhelmed with mixed feelings, Jessica and Timothy didn't know how to respond. "Save your gratitude young ones. Take it as a gift of mercy from a very great hero. You may thank the great Maxwell later. Tomorrow at this very park, arrive at this same exact time. For now, I bid farewell. Be there or be square!" Maxwell then pulled out his phone camera to admire himself as he marched away proudly, leaving Jessica and Timothy extremely bewildered.

Timothy looked over to Jessica and said, "Should we tell him we got letters to the academy too before he walks away?" Jessica looked at Timothy and replied, "Nah dude, just let him do his thing man. It's pretty fun."
