Heavily breathing, Lucas stood over Seth's dazed and near unconscious body, clutching the gaping bloody wound in his abdomen. The huge shattered light next to them was smoking heavily.

Without that light, it was as if a sizable shadow was casting over Lucas and Seth, creating a grim visual to everybody else that was spectating. "Alright, it's over. Lucas is the winner of this match," calmly announced Mr. Jones.

Most of the students, especially Timothy, were too surprised or panicked by Lucas's current condition to positively react to his victory.

All of a sudden, Lucas fell to his knees, onto his hands, and began to cough up a lot more blood. Without hesitation, Mr. Jones gave Mr. Jason a swift head gesture to go down to the battlefield and quickly aid Lucas's nasty injury.

Mr. Jason nodded and swiftly ran over to the stairs at the end of the balcony without a second delay. As Lucas was bleeding out and awaiting the urgent medical care, he sensed Seth now standing over him. Slowly picking his head up to make eye contact, Lucas saw Seth staring down at him with a cold, blank expression. He was covered in bruises.

"Good match," Seth said in an apathetic manner. Lucas simply glowered at him. "You....you attempted...to put an end to my life," Lucas panted with an angered growl in his deep voice.

"I apologize if you saw it that way, but whether or not you want to believe me, that was not at all my intention," Seth replied, as he turned away, and began walking off.

But then, Seth stopped, and he slightly turned his head back to Lucas. "Just so you're aware, I want to be a hero just as much as you. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to become one. Lucas, use this experience as a lesson. You're not as untouchable as you may have thought you once were. This is the big leagues." After his statement, Seth and Lucas shared one final glare of pure tension, before Seth turned his head straight and started walking forward.

As Mr. Jason got down to the field, he immediately ran past Seth and up to Lucas. Mr. Jason got down on a knee, and held the palm of his hand over Lucas's blood spilling gut.

Instantly, Lucas's inner tissue had rapidly started repairing itself and regenerating. The blood Lucas loss that was scattered across the battlefield had started to return into his bloodstream.

As Mr. Jason was doing this, he also held his opposing hand up near the shattered light beside them. Suddenly, pieces of the large light had begun to float back up and reattach to the ceiling, repairing itself. It was as if he was rewinding time.

"What a fascinating ability," Lucas thought to himself as Mr. Jason finished up healing him. He even repaired the hole in Lucas's tuxedo and faded away the bloodstain.

"Thank you," Lucas softly said to Mr. Jason, wearing a grateful expression. Mr. Jason simply nodded with a focused look on his face, as he finished fixing everything.
