The vampire and his serpent

Lan zhan's POV
When I grabbed the shoulder of that person he started shaking. I wonder what kind of spy is he. He is so scared just by this.

He must be dragon clan. There were already two serpent spies from dragon clan whom I have caught. Only serpents are able to take another look. As the thought came to my mind that he may be a spy my anger increased and I pierced my nails in his shoulder and he screamed . His heartbeat was very fast and could be clearly heard . Then he fell on his knees.
His voice is so soothing even if its a scream. Who is this person . I have never  felt something like this before and his scent is driving me crazy.

Then the smell of his blood hit my nose. I want to taste that blood badly. I am literally a starved vampire. After my parents died no one was left in my family so I couldn't drink blood. I can drink blood brought from other clans but I don't want the blood of those evil people to enter my body . It disgusts me. Its almost 2 years since I tasted blood. But blood of this person is making me lose control. My vampire has never been so aggressive .It's being very hard for me  to control him. If I let it take control I am sure I will end up killing this person or heavily injuring him.

I went in front of him and grabbed his neck. My eyes already turned green. I heard a cracked voice "please". Then realisation hit me that he is my mate. I immediately loosened my grip.
He fell on the ground panting heavily.

Then his look changed.
He changed into a beautiful young boy. Such a beautiful person I have never seen in my life. His figure looks feminine. I wonder how can a male have such a thin waist. Then he said while crying," I got lost and entered this area, I have no evil intentions please believe me" . His crying breaks my heart. I thought he was from dragon clan and ended up hurting him. But what if he is not. What if he really got lost and entered this area.

Then I noticed that every guard was looking  at my mate. I want to kill each one of them. He is mine. No one should lay their lustful gazes on him.

Then I ordered the guards to him to criminals chamber in a separate room.

I really don't want those guards to touch my mate but still I have to act with my mind not with my emotions.
I don't want to reveal the fact that he is my mate. It will create suspicion if I will care for a trespasser. I do not trust anyone not even the guards of my kingdom other than my brother and sister.
So  i told the guards to take him.
Also I have to rush away from him because I am loosing control. His blood is attracting me towards him. I don't want to hurt him. So I started walking away.

I don't care if he is really from dragon clan . All I know is that he is my mate and he must stay with me . I am sure that he is a serpent. I will never let him go . He is mine.

After walking for a while I licked my hands that were covered with his blood.
I want more, I really need more. My nails went into my palms as I was trying hard to control myself.
Then I started to fly in the direction to where my mate was being taken. I saw guards dragging my mate and all the time he was crying. I wanted to assure that the guards didn't touch my mate improperly. But I can't go near him. Also he needs medical help. He was injured. I can't let anyone touch him.
So I called my sister.
I informed her to come into the mansion in the criminals chamber to treat a person. I also informed her that he is my mate.

He looked so scared . I don't want him to be scared of me. I want him to love me. I want   to protect him from this world. But I am such a fool. I hurt him at our first meeting. He looks so innocent.
I hope he can forgive me.
'I sorry ,please don't hate me 'I said internally. All the time I was sitting on the roof of my mansion.
After few minutes I saw my sister flying and coming towards the mansion.
As soon as she saw me she flew towards me and landed on the roof .
She came near me and grabbed my hand and said ," gege ,finally you remember your little sister after such a long time. Shouldn't you give me a warm hug".
I looked at her with an expressionless face and shook my hand away.
She giggled and said,"You are so fun to annoy. I love it".
I responded coldly, "Just do your work. Don't waste my time".
She responded by bowing," as your wish my king".Then she went inside the mansion.

She is such a drama queen. Though I may  look cold but I love my sister's company. In this dull  life of politics where there are conspiracy at every path, having a little cute sister like her brings colour to my life.

And now I have such a beautiful mate. I will make him love me. I will protect him from this cruel world  and give him all happiness. I hope he will be okay soon. He needs to give me an explanation and I also need to explain him for hurting him. I hope we can clear misunderstandings soon . I should  not jump into the conclusion that he had some wicked moves.
