Lan zhan picked up the little girl in his arms. The people who were around him were shocked seeing this. The cold vampire king who hated being close to some stranger casually carried a stranger girl.

The girl smiled being carried by the latter.

Lan zhan started walking  outside to be away from the crowd.

Wei ying," Mate I have something important to tell you."

Lan zhan,"I told you to be with Lan chyou. Why are you not with her?"

Lan zhan said in angry voice which made wei ying flinch.
He didn't said anything.

Lan zhan glared at the little girl angrily . Now they were already in the garden outside the party hall.

Lan zhan,"why did I see you coming with a stranger? "

The little  girl buried her face in the latter's neck.
Seeing this Lan zhan mentally scolded himself for talking like this to his mate. But he couldn't help it. He was very much worried about him. But also he was jealous seeing him in someone else's arms .

He felt his neck getting wet. Now he was regretting scolding him.
His anger completely vanished when he heard the little girl sobbing.

Lan zhan,"don't cry. I am sorry. I will not scold you. "

Wei ying,"I am sorry."

Lan zhan,"I was just worried. I am not angry. What did you wanted to tell me?"
Lan zhan immediately changed the conversation .

The little girl wiped her tears and said,
"Someone is going to be killed. I heard two people talking. See their photos."

The girl gave her mobile to Lan zhan.
Lan zhan immediately took the phone .
Lan zhan,'I shouldn't have bring him with me.'

Lan zhan thought while seeing the picture. He immediately put down his mate. Then wei ying took his phone.
He went near a corner where there was no light and turned into his original look.

Then he entered the party hall as Lan zhan had told him not to interact with him.
Lan zhan  only gave him a nod allowing him to go inside.

Lan zhan called Lan chyou,

Lan zhan,"come to the party hall . Xian is here."

Lan chyou,"she is safe???"

Lan zhan,"yes, something is going to happen. Jins are involved. Someone is gonna killed."

Lan chyou,"okay, I am coming."

Lan zhan then enters the party hall.
He massages Lan xichen to warn him.

Lan zhan looks around to see where his mate is.

After looking here there he sees his mate being surrounded by few men who were forcing him to drink and he was trying to refuse them.

This was too much for him to handle. Now he didn't cared anymore if it would create suspicion that he had found his mate.

He was about to reach near them when he heard his sister's voice.

Lan chyou,"Wanna drink with me."

Lan chyou said with an evil smirk on her face while looking at the three men who were there. She went near wei ying and put her arm on his shoulder.

xian," chyou you came back."

Lan zhan thanked her sister for coming on time otherwise he himself didn't knew what he would have done.
