I closed my eyes and started screaming, when you go into a vortex, it feels like

a roller coaster spinning, and spinning, and spinning. I felt like I was going to be sick.

“Open your eyes Saber.” Luna said. I opened them, seeing the most beautiful garden

anybody will see. Even for me, it was beautiful. “Scribbles!” called Luna. Something

rattled in the bush next to me. A little Arctic fox popped out its head. Yes, an Arctic

fox, in a garden, does the word “arctic” not mean anything to angels? “Ah, there you

are.” Said Luna. She bent down and petted the fox’s head. “Saber, this is Scribbles, as

you can tell, he’s an Arctic fox. As I told you, you are the ice Power Gem, I forgot to

mention that Power Gems each get an animal.” “Why do I need an animal?” I asked

looking down at Scribbles, looking into his deep icy blue eyes.

“Each animal a Power Gem gets has the same power and the Gems. Trust me,

they are very useful; a Gem animal can heal you and only you. But it comes with a price

of the animal, your Gem animal will die for you.” Luna explained. Okay, as a Goth, you

have to act like you can take care of yourself. To be honest, I’m a huge softy for animals,

I couldn’t say no to the little fox. “Cool” I said trying not to be excited about the animal.

I think his eyes are the same color as my hair… cool.

I looked down at Scribbles and he looked back at me. It took a lot of will power

not to go down on my knees and hug the little dog. Scribbles looked at me with those big

puppy dog eyes. “Are you ready?” asked Luna. “Ready for what?” I asked back. “To

look for the other Power Gems of course.” Said Luna. “Oh, of course.” I said feeling

stupid.

“Come on Scribbles,” I said motioning the fox to come. “Ready to go?”

asked Luna “Yeah.” I replied still feeling stupid. “Well then, lets go.” Luna said, as

she summoned the vortex again. Oh yay. You love how much I love vortexes. Luna

motioned me over and I walked toward while Scribbles followed behind me. We all

walked into the vortex, spinning and spinning. I almost threw up.
