Power Gems

Chapter 6

We ended up at a house. I have no freaking idea where, I just went through a

vortex it doesn’t exactly have a GPS. Luna walked inside without hesitation. “You’re

just going to walk into someone’s house?” I asked Luna, but she ignored me. Luna went

through the front door.

“Hello?” someone called for another room. “Jason. Come here.” Luna said using

that creepy voice she did on me. “What’s going on?!” Jason demanded from the other

room. “Come here.” Luna said still using that creepy voice. Moments later a tall skinny

kid with freckles and pure shaggy red hair and dark blue eyes came into the room. “Who

are you?!” he demanded. “I’m Luna, and this is Saber, she’s a Power Gem just like

you.” Luna explained. “A Power Gem what the heck is that?” Here we go again. Luna

explained to Jason the whole “Power Gems must save the world” stuff. Luna also told

Jason the he is the fire Power Gem, hint-hint, red hair. Jason looked at me. “Sup,” I said

being myself. “Hi,” Jason said awkwardly. “We need to go back to the Garden of Life.”

Said Luna. “Garden of Life?” Jason said. “It’s a long story.” I explained. “Well how are

we supposed to get there?” asked Jason.

“Oh, I almost forgot.” Said Luna turning around. “Your wings.” “Wings?” Jason

asked. “Long story.” I said again. Luna did her hand sparkle thing again and Jason

looked behind him to see cream-colored wings coming from his back. “Wow,” he said

staring at his wings. “Now to the Garden.” Luna said. She raised her hand and a vortex

opened. Oh great. I had to push Jason in the vortex before he ran off. We all ended up

in the Garden of Life. “Wow, it’s beautiful.” Said Jason.

“Oh yes, your animal. Gosh I am so off today.” Said Luna. “Animal?” asked

Jason. How many questions is this kid going to ask? “Just go with it.” I said about to

punch the kid. You must know something about me. I freaking hate stupid questions.

And this Jason kid is going to be the end of me. “Torch!” Luna called. This time,

something rattled in the trees. A purple-blue little dragon came out.

“Torch?” Oh god, please, make it stop! Luna explained the whole “Power Gem

animal can save your life” to Jason. Jason looked down at his little dragon hovering

above the ground. It flew higher and landed on Jason’s head. I giggled. Which is

something I never do.
