Something cold touched my stomach and I forced my eyes open.  My vision was blurred at first but cleared up.  I saw Chrissie and Zoie at the edge of my bed with white clothes and thread and needles.

“What are you guys doing?” I asked my voice all gruff.  “We’re cleaning your wound and stitching it up so that it won’t open anymore.”  Said Zoie with a big smile on her face.  I looked down at my stomach and saw that they clean my wound very nicely.  I saw barley any blood and it was starting to scab over a little bit.  I looked over at the foot of my bed and saw Scribbles standing and looking at me.  We stared at each other for what seemed hours then he ran over to me at full speed and licked my face vigorously.

I wiped some saliva off my face when the door opened.  Jason pocked his head out of the door.  “How is she doing?”  He said in a harsh whisper.  “She’s awake, you can come in.”  Chrissie said without looking up from my stomach.  Jason opened the door fully and walked inside and crouched at the edge of my bed.

“How you holding up?”

“I feel like crap, but I can manage.”

Jason smiled and kissed me on the forehead.  “I made something for you.”  Jason said with his hands behind his back.  “What?” I asked getting a little too curious.  He revealed what he was hiding; it was a large glass and hot chocolate with a lot of whipped cream on the top of it and a red straw coming out of it.  It was the most beautiful hot chocolate I have ever seen.

I grabbed the glass without thinking and started sucking down the warm chocolaty goodness.  It tasted and beautiful as it looked.  “Oh my god, this is fantastic!” I squealed vibrating on my bed.  “How did you make it so good?”  I asked taking another sip of hot chocolate.  “With love.”  Jason said with a smirk and walked out of my room.

I took another swig of the awesome beverage as Chrissie said, “Ok, now we are going to started the stitching, this might hurt so try not to move.”  As she tied a thin string to the eye of the needle.  I nodded and kept drinking my hot chocolate.

Getting stitches doesn’t feel very well when it’s on your stomach.  As Chrissie was stitching me up I kept squishing my eyes shut because of the pain.  “All done,” I heard Zoie say as we wiped my stomach with a wet cloth.  I let out a deep breath and sat up on my bed.  “We’re not done just yet, we need to put bandages around your waist.” Zoie said as I almost stood up.  “How long will that take?” I asked, “Not very long, only about 5 minutes then you’re all good.”  Chrissie said taking out a roll of white bandages.

I sighed and Chrissie and Zoie came up to me and put the white bandages around my waist.  They finished and started packing their medical supplies.  I stood up and wobbled for a bit and gained my balance.  I took off my PJ’s and put on a navy blue t-shirt and some army green pants.  I walked out to the living room where Jason and Brock were talking.  They both instantly stopped talking as I entered the room.

“I don’t believe you.” Brock whispered to Jason, “Fine, watch.” Jason replied in a whisper as well.  Jason got up from the couch and walked straight towards me.  “What are you-” was all I could say before Jason dipped me back that my hair touched the floor and that I was balancing on one leg when he kissed me- hard.  Jason whipped me back up and walked back to Brock who had his jaw wide open.  “Told you,” Jason said walking as I stood there blinking, trying to figure out what just happened.  “Nice one bro,” Brock said and Jason and Brock high-fived.  All I could manage to saw was, “Ok,” and walked over to the couch and sat down.

Jason and Brock followed me and sat next to me.  “What was that for?” I asked Jason.  “Brock didn’t believe me when I told him we where together.”  Jason replied smiling.  “Did you really have to dip me?” I asked holding my stomach because it hurt a little from the dip.  “I wanted to make it a little dramatic.” Jason said smiling at me that it started to make me feel weird.  “Whatever,” I said turning head and blushing as Jason wrapped his arm around my neck. I caved in and put my head his shoulder.

My eyes began to feel heavy and I began to close them.  The world around me began to fade, when I heard footsteps coming closer.  I know it was from nobody in the room, but it felt so real.  The footsteps grew louder and louder until they stopped.

“Saber,” said a soft yet rough voice.  I ignored it and I began to dream, but got interrupted.  “Saber,” it said again, this time more clear and louder.  “What?” I tried to say but failed.  “Your life will end soon, and I’m going to be the one who takes it!” the voice grew louder and louder like screaming in my ear.  “I’ll be for you soon Saber, just you wait.” The voice started to fade.  My eyes burst open.

“Oh my god,” I said under my breath.  “What wrong, Saber?”  Jason asked.  “Blackout, he’s coming.”
