I stood there in the doorway, breathless. Scribbles hopped down from the couch he was sitting on and ran towards me. Scribbles started pawing at my legs, I bent down and scooped him up like a baby. Scribbles began licking my face uncontrollably, I had to wipe slobber off my cheeks very few seconds. Gaze flew off the perch she was standing on and landed on Chrissie's shoulder. Chrissie lightly scratched the top of Gaze's head. Torch as always, flew and landed on Jason's head with a little roar that he does. Dusty, who was actually quite slow and jagged, stumbled his was to Brock and did this cute little bear sound. Sparky waddled his way to Zoie, but couldn't quite get to her because of Dusty in the way.
"Well this is weird." I finally said, breaking the awkward silence.
"Yeah, what are our animals doing here, shouldn't they be back on earth?" Said Zoie, finally picking up Sparky
"Another question, who is William Hedge?" Said Jason with Torch still on his head. That is a question I would like to know the answer to. This William Hedge guy has really gotten on my nerves, he keeps popping up into my head and says creepy things like he is going to kill me and that I keep getting into his business.
"We should ask Silvia when she comes and gets us tomorrow for training, she'll probably know the answers to our questions." Said Zoie, walking past me and into the house that look exactly like our tree house, maybe even a little better. The exact same fountain was there in the middle of the living room with the marble floor, with the kitchen to the left and the TV and couches to the right. And the same hallways that lead to our rooms. It felt like I was back on earth and not having to worry about Blackout and his stupid face.
I followed Zoie inside and the others followed me, instead of talking to my group, I went straight into my room, put Scribbles down, and face-planted on my bed. I have had enough of today, meeting Jason's father and wanting me to keep it a secret that he is here, and having that counsel meeting with Neilpha and all those other Great Ones had my head spin. I really needed rest, and food. I was so hungry, but my body was too tired to move. I began to close my eyes and drift off into my dreams.
