I sit there, still in my chair unable to move. How could they just control us like that? No, I have had enough training and I wanted to go back to earth. Now. I stood up so fast that in the chair fell to the ground with a large bang! Everyone's head turned to me. "NO!" I screamed. "We want to find Luna whether you like it or not! You can't keep us here! I want to leave now!" "Saber," Jason began. "Just calm down, it'll be OK, the angels have volunteered to go look for Luna so that we are safe. And they are letting us train with their best warriors of Heaven. Please Saber, think this through." Jason touched my arm to calm me, but it didn't work. Instead of being comforted to his touch, I felt anger through me. No one was going to tell me what I can't or can't do. "No Jason! You don't understand! They think we're weak, that we can't do it on our own! Well I want to show 'The Great Ones' that we are not just tools! We can do what we want when saving the world comes into play, but not like this. Not like this..." I said and tears began to burn my eyes and my breathing began to quicken. All though times being bullied at school can actually hurt a person. The names they called me rang in my head over and over. Freak. Weirdo. Attention Whore. Gothic freak. Wannabe. The names grew louder and louder. I tended to ignore such verbal abuse and thought nothing much of it. Of course it hurt, but I was used to the pain. Just the thought of people judging me on what I looked like angered me more then anything. Now The Great Ones think the same thing of me, just like the people at school.
"Saber, you think I don't understand?" Jason said, his low. "Of course I understand, you know that I have been through the same kind of pain as you. Saber nobody is the same, please just hear me out. This could be good for us. Please, give it a try and if nothing works for you then we can leave." I stood there for a few moments, I didn't want to stay, I really didn't. I thought long and hard for a while and finally nodded my head. Maybe something good could happen to us.
Jason patted my shoulder and sat back down in his chair, but I still stood there standing. The names ringing in my head. Freak. Whore. Wannabe. My body couldn't move, my blood was boiling and anger raged within me still. "Saber?" The voice broke my thinking and made me jump a little. Everyone was still staring at me. I looked at the large man and his face was hard. He looked at me with raging bright blue eyes. I finally realized what I was doing and cleared my throat. "I'm sorry," I said in a small voice and turned around and picked up my chair and put it back in place.
"Saber Skyfield, I have heard enough out of your mouth! Now sit down!" The large man boomed and I immediately sat down in my chair. The large man cleared his throat and said, "Now everything is settled this time and there will hopefully be no more disruptions I would like you Power Gems to begin training." "But," I began. "We came here to know Luna's location so that we could save her, please sir, I must save Luna, I must." My voice was small but sweet. I never looked up from my hands slowly clenching into fists. My fists were so tight that my knuckles turned white. I finally looked up from my hands and to everyone around the room. Freak. Whore. Show off. The words were louder and louder and were banging around in my head. Slut. Loser. Shut up! I yelled into my head. But it wouldn't stop. Gothic freak. Ugly. Stupid. I said enough! I yelled in my head. My head hurt so much that I couldn't take it. The next thing I know I am on the floor with my hands on my head screaming for it to stop. "Oh my gosh! Saber!" I heard over and over again until my eyes closed by themselves.
