Eyes of all colors went straight to me. The white wooden door closed behind us with a slam. "There they are! Just the gals we were waiting for!" a large man said sitting at a large round table with everyone else and a few other people I didn't know, his voice was low but bright, it reminded me of Santa Clause. He had a large white robe on that draped to the floor. He had pure white hair with a mustache and long beard that barley past his torso and bright blues eyes the were glowing with happiness. His voice boomed through the room that you could hear the materials rattle. "Saber, Zoie! We've been waiting for you!" Beamed Brock, he was holding up a glass of water and motioned us over. I thought The Greats Ones were very serious, I turned my head to ask Vincent a few questions but Vincent had vanished. " Jason can't see me, not yet." Vincent's voice echoed through my head and thinking of Jason made me want to cry, but I pulled myself together. Zoie and I walked over to the round table, there were two empty seats next to Chrissie and Jason. I sat in the seat next to Jason and Zoie took the seat next to Chrissie. I leaned over to Zoie, "I thought you said the angels grew angry and took everybody to be punished." I whispered in her ear harshly. "That was my theory, I didn't know if that's what actually happened." Zoie whispered back defensively.
I opened my mouth to say something but I was interrupted by a booming voice. "Now that we are all hear, lets get started!" The large man said happily. "Wow wow, wait! I didn't come all this way just to come to a useless meeting! I want to know where Luna is! Now you tell us now or I'm leaving!" I yelled, things were happening to fast and I didn't care if I got kicked out of the meeting room, as long I got my information on where Luna was, I was fine. "Now, now Missy, lets not get hasty calm down before I get angry." The large man said, his happy voice was now low and scary. I cringed and folded my arms over my chest and huffed. "Sorry Sir," I said with a sarcastic voice and slumped in my chair.
"Now that is settled, we know that your guide, Luna, was captured by Blackout and is in need of help. Over the years Blackout has grown very strong, he won't be an easy match. Therefore, I, and the rest of The Great Ones have decided to get the Power Gems here in Heaven for safe keeping. Here, you will continue training and grow stronger until we are satisfied with your powers and we will release you to defeat Blackout." The man said.
My mouth hung open and so did everyone else's. I stood up and slammed my hands on the table and shouted, "I will not stay here as your slave! I want Luna back, she isn't just some tool that you can just toss out!" "THAT WILL BE ENOUGH OUT OF YOU SABER SKYFIELD! NOT A ANOTHER WORD OUT OF YOUR MOUTH! AM I CLEAR?! WE HAVE MADE OUR DECISION AND IT IS FINAL!" The man boomed, his bright blue eyes that were once filled with happiness were now filled with anger towards me. I stayed there with my hands on the table staring at one of The Great Ones with eyes full of anger, I wasn't going to take no for an answer. I had to save Luna, I has to.
"Saber, calm down and sit down." Jason said and putting his hand on my arm. His hand was warm against my skin, but now wasn't the time to fall for his touch. I sighed and sat back down in my chair. "Here drink some water." Jason said and passed his cup of water in front of me. I grabbed the clear cup and drank some water, calming down a little bit.
"With all due respect sir, I have to agree with Saber. Although to you, Luna might be some tool but to us she is a friend. We would like to save her from Blackout's grasp. We will even come back here to continue training, but we want Luna to train us. Please sir." Chrissie said, her gaze was very stern. I was surprised, I never really thought Chrissie thought anything of Luna. Chrissie was the person that shows barley any emotion. I didn't really think much of Chrissie although she did help Zoie patch me up when Blackout stabbed me. I did owe her for that.
"I am sorry Miss Chrissie, but our decision is final, I understand that Luna is your friend and you want to save her but we can't risk any of you to get hurt. I bet Luna would do the same for you but she couldn't even she wanted to. But, I never said that Luna would never be freed from Blackout, I will send a team of some of my best warriors to go retrieve Luna if she means that much to you. In the mean while you will continue training in a group of two and a group of three since there are five of you. You must know how to work with each other and know what each one is capable of. Each group will get one trainer, after you have made progress then we will put everyone together, once everyone is training together, knowing battle tactics and each other's power, then we will send you to defeat Blackout." The large man said, his voice wasn't angry anymore and his bright blue eyes showed concern. "Now for your groups: Brock, Chrissie and Jason, you are a small team for now. And Zoie and Saber, you are a team for now as well."
Nobody argued with The Great One, I wanted to say something but I knew for the best that I didn't. There was a silence in the room for a moment but was broken by Brock. "How long do you think it will take for them to bring Luna back?" "That is a good question Brock," The large man began, "On my estimated opinion, I would say about a week or two. We have come close to finding Blackout's hideout but haven't fully found it, so it will take us some time to find it. Anymore questions?" I opened my mouth to say something but got sight of Jason's face and I quickly shut it. The look on his face was very intimitating and clearly said that I shoudln't say anything at all. The large man boomed "No? Well then, lets begin!"
