“WHAT THE HELL?!” I exclaimed.  But saw no one.  Jason was lying on his bed holding his shoulder. I hurried and helped him sit up.  The ninja star was still in his shoulder, I looked at it and saw purple liquid on the tips.  Crap, poison, I thought.

“We need to get the ninja star out.” I said slightly pulling the ninja star.  “AAGH!” Jason screamed.  I got the star out, and threw it on the floor. Now for the poison.  I ripped off the sleeve of my shirt and wrapped it around Jason’s shoulder.  The blood quickly went through the fabric.

I helped him stand up.  We walked to the living room and I set him down on the couch.  “Hold on Jason, I’ll go get Luna and Zoie.” I said running as fast as I can.  “Luna, Zoie!” I was calling while running.  “What?” I heard Zoie from her room which as next to mine.  I barged in her room. “Jason’s hurt! Where’s Luna?” I said in panic.  “Oh my god!” she said her face went straight to fear.  “You go find Luna, I’ll stay with Jason, I might be able to help him.” Zoie said running past me and heading straight to Jason.

I went straight to the deck and stretched out my golden wings and jumped off.  “Luna!” I was screaming from above.  I searched and searched but I couldn’t find her.  I went back to the tree house to check on Jason.

“Is he alright?” I asked running through the opening.  I saw Jason lying on the couch and Zoie pressing a white cloth on his shoulder.  “How’s the poison?” I asked.  “I never found any poison, if he was ever exposed to poison, it’s gone now. But he’s bleeding a lot, the star hit a vein.” She explained to me.  “That’s weird…” I said thinking out loud.

“Maybe poison doesn’t affect us.” Zoie said thinking out loud too.  “No offence, but I’m still in pain here.” Jason said, holding his shoulder.  “Oh, right.” Zoie and I said at the same time feeling embarrassed.  We both sat down next to Jason and helped him with the cloth.

“I’ll see if the ninja star is still in Jason’s room.” I said getting up from the couch and heading toward Jason’s room.  “Good idea, I’ll stay here.” Said Zoie pressing the white cloth on Jason’s shoulder, which was turning red quickly.

I passed the fountain turned right and headed toward Jason’s room.  I opened the door of his dark blue room.  I looked all around the room.  Under his bed, and under all his clothes on the floor.  I lifted a black jacket on the floor and saw the ninja star.  I picked it up and ran back to Zoie and Jason.

“Here it is.” I said handing it to Zoie.  “Hmmm…” Zoie said looking at it. “What?” I asked.  “I not a scientist but this is definitely poison, but why isn’t Jason affected?”   “That’s because it’s doesn’t affect The Dragon’s Breath.” we heard from behind us.  I quickly turned my head to see Luna stepping in through the opening.

“What’s “The Dragon’s Breath” and where were you? I was out looking for!” I slightly yelled at Luna. “it’s none of your business were I was, and The Dragon’s Breath is a very rare ability that Jason has been chosen to have.” Luna said, anger in her voice.  “Jeesh…” I said under my breath.  “what does The Dragon’s Breath do?” said Zoie tilting her head slightly.  “The Dragon’s Breath is a special ability that will protect you almost anything that your body doesn’t know.” Luna explained and started walking toward Jason.

She bent over the couch and touched Jason’s was once white cloth and is now red and removed it from his shoulder.  Blood started pouring out of his shoulder.  Jason hurried and put his hand to stop the bleeding but Luna pushed his hand away.   “Jason, you need to concentrate on healing this wound.” Luna said calmly.  Jason  took a deep breath and sat there.  A glow of red light shinned out of his shoulder, he hurried and touched his shoulder.  “No blood.” He said his eyes wide.

Zoie squealed and hugged Jason.  Jason sat there with Zoie on top of him, his eyes still wide.  He slowly put his arms around her and hugged her back.  I slowly walked over to the couch.  “You feel better, baby?” I said putting my arms across my chest and smirking.  “Yep, it feels like new.” Jason said, ignoring my comment. “Good you big baby, you had everyone worried sick.” I said using my teasing voice.  Jason rolled his eyes at me.

“I need to talk to you,” I heard Luna say right in ear which made me jump a little.  I turned to see Luna, her face more serious than normal.  I nodded and walked with her toward the opening.  We both spread out our wings and jumped.
