My golden wings pushed up and down against the soft wind flowing through the mountains as I headed east.
"Saber, wait up, you can't do this alone!"
I looked behind me and saw Jason waving his hands and the others flying following him towards me, but I was going to fast, I had to save Luna. I pushed my wings the opposite direction and my hair almost whipped me in the eyes. I stopped almost immediately. Jason's face met square with my back and pushed me forward.
"Jeez Saber, calm down, where are you even going?" asked Jason as he rubbed his nose.
"Where do you think? I'm going to Heaven."
"Heaven? What on earth has happened to you Saber? you're not acting like yourself. How are you even going to even get to Heaven, it's not like there's an elevator." Said Jason, he scrunched up his nose from the pain while also cocking an eyebrow.
"I know that I'm not an idiot, but first we have to find civilization to even get a clue to where we are. Luna never told us where we are, it's always been a mystery. If we can find a village and something we should know where to start looking." I explained.
"You need civilization, just to look for Heaven? You must be kidding!" Brock said almost shouting.
"Do you have a better plan 'Brock-the-Rock?' I didn't think so. Come on, let's go." I said and started to fly toward east.
Giggles came from behind me, I turned around and saw Chrissie and Zoie with their hands over their mouths laughing. Brock heard them laughing a slowly, his cheeks began to turn red. I smirked and started flying a little faster.
About an hour past and we found nothing, just more and more trees appeared. It seemed like we were going in a gigantic circle of woods and lakes. "I'm tired!" protested Zoie and she slumped her arms, legs, and heads down. She looked like a flying dead body. "There's a cave up ahead, we can stay there for the night." Suggested Jason.
"We can't stop now, we still have a lot to do!" I argued, I wasn't taking my chances with someone being killed by a 50-year-old looking man. "But everyone is tired, we should get some rest." Jason said calmly and put his hand on my shoulder. My patience was about to explode, but I was tired myself. "OK," I said softly and the group headed for the cave.
Inside the cave was disgusting! The walls were covered in what looked like dried blood and the floor had skeletons that belonged to little creatures. I walked inside, stepping on a dead rat which made a disturbing crushing sound when I stepped on it, turned to my group and said, " Better get some rest now, we're not stopping tomorrow."
I lied down on the cold stone floor, using most of my hair as a pillow I began to think. What horrible things are happening to Luna? Is she already dead? Will we die trying to save her? I couldn't bare the thought of losing someone that I actually liked. Luna wouldn't be the first choice of person I would consider my friend, but she was. I've only spent a few months with her and she has excepted me for me. I never had to be someone I wasn't for her to like me.
A shiver went up my spine thinking when I felt Jason's breath down my neck. By instinct I pulled my knees to my chest. I turned my head to see his dark blue eyes staring at me. "What are you doing?" I whispered harshly "People are trying to sleep!"
He only silently laughed to himself and said "You're more worried than I thought. Your body language says it all." My cheeks flushed a little and lightly punched him in the arm.
I lied my head back down on my hair and closed my eyes, I cleared my head and slowly began to dream not knowing what would become of tomorrow.
