Third Person's POV

Lord Kenichi blinks his widened eyes rapidly as he whispered, "She...she put on a brutal show for the Puppet Master but then stopped?" It is then that the deep voice of his older brother Lord Riku speaks up from behind him, "She stopped for Goro." Lord Kenichi turns quickly to his his brother standing behind him with two of his personal guards at his side. "Brother!" Lord Kenichi gasps out as he lowers his head in respect and greeting to his brother. "Rise your head brother. There is no need to be formal with me whilst we're here." Lord Riku says as he walks over to the chair that Lady Hitomi had previously occupied before she left to escort the students and master. Lord Kenichi raises his head and gives his brother a small smile before asking, "Brother, what do you mean about her stopping for Goro." Lord Riku turns his face to look at his young brother as he says, "Once I arrived I could sense Akina's urge to kill, so I immediately used telepathy to try and convince her to stop. At first I tried the approach of telling her that by killing the foul creature she would turn out like Chiharu. However, she made a valid argument in response. I have already witnessed her take a life before. Actually thinking about it, she intended to take two lives but only successfully killed one." In seeing his brother's confused face, he decides to explain in more detail. "Akina fought against two Saint Beasts and intended to kill both. Suzaku the leader, who of course she succeeded with a very powerful spell that only powerful Spirits or even talented Witches can use. And Byakko, who she defeated in battle but didn't kill as lava couldn't kill him. Though she killed one of them and intended to kill the other, she fought with the intention of protecting the Human World from them. Akina had argued that as she had already killed and had already adopted Chiharu's knowledge and technique, she deemed it too late. So as a final resort I reached my mind to Goro and sensed his despair, and reminded Akina of Goro's presence. Clearly she didn't like his despair and so stopped." Lord Kenichi's face softens as he gently says, "Akina is wrong. She isn't like Chiharu if she cared about how Goro was feeling. I mean didn't you tell me how Chiharu had forced Goro into the bond and made him remain a simple puppy after stealing him from his father? Akina allows him to be who he wants to be and to express himself." Lord Riku gives his brother a soft look also before saying, "I think you should share this with Akina. For you make a more compelling argument than her."

The Puppet Master enters their VIP box and is greeted by the Executioner, who immediately asks, "Do you wish for me to go and teach Akina Urameshi a lesson for backing out of the deal she made with you?" The Puppet Master shakes their head before continuing to make their way over to their seat. "No. And technically she fulfilled her side of the deal, she gave me a show and I must say I was not disappointed." The Puppet Master speaks casually before laughter comes from them. "Oh and I got to see that slimy rich old fart squirm as he saw that money can't give you everything, and that karma loves to bite peoples asses! He just couldn't handle the reality, oh I almost reached cloud nine!" The Executioner makes his way over to his master before asking, "So what now?" The Puppet Master stops laughing, before answering, "Continue to watch the fights, and you need to locate that bitch and get me reports on why the hell she is here and what will be her next move."
