It was a Friday afternoon spent inside the Great Hall. Except — it was empty.

Most people were either in classes or in their common rooms enjoying their free time. However, you and Marissa were in the Great Hall with a few Professors and Head boy and girls of each house. Arranging ideas for the Halloween feast, party and surprises. The Prefects were told to take care of their houses, but you were an exception.

The feast was only three days away, and you felt like everyone was already behind the planned schedule.

It took a lot of time to convince Pansy to monitor the Slytherins and she finally give in after seeing Draco do the job alone.

Dumbledore originally invited you but Marissa had been squealing all morning, wanting to come with you and so you agreed because who wouldn't agree to a Hufflepuff?

Professor Mconagall was placing enchantment spells around the Great Hall for more sparkle and shine.

I can already tell that this years Halloween feast will be an incredible one.

Whilst Professor Dumbledore stood in front of the tables, ready to assign orders.

"The other Prefects are currently performing their duties. It would be best for us to complete the remaining work." He smiled with his warm eyes.

You smiled back whilst Marissa nodded enthusiastically like a child waiting to eat ice cream.

"Y/N, you'll be in charge of the decorations down in the dungeons, respective to your house." Professor Dumbledore said with his soft voice.

"Yes Professor. Of course." You nodded in affirmation.

"And Marissa, you can do the Ravenclaw towers."

"On it Professor Dumbledore!" Marissa pretended to salute Professor Dumbledore. Her grin was quite enlightening. She rushed off to complete her task. "Sorry Y/N but I'll be making progress faster than you!" Her voice echoed throughout the hall as she dashed away.

"Fast one. Isn't she?" Madam Hooch said, intrigued by the blue haired girl.

"Too bad Flintwood isn't representing our house." Professor Mcgonagall chimed in. She earned a bittersweet smile from Miranda Bile, the Hufflepuff Head girl and the chaser for the Hufflepuff quidditch team.

"Well I'll better get going too." You interrupted. But were instantly stopped in your tracks.

"Wait, L/N. We need to discuss something with you." Professor Mcgonagall's cheery faced was replaced with her knitted brows.

"Professor?" You turned to face her. Your eyebrows pulled up.

"L/N, I am sure you have heard a lot of discouraging language from your own house, so we would like to have a chat with you." Said Professor Mcgonagall. Dumbledore did not budge in but had appeared to be in deep thought. "Please see us during the evening." She pursued her lips.

You nodded, "I will."

A couple of big stomps were heard, inching closer to the Great Hall's entrance.

"Don't worry! Ya aren't in trouble youngling. Mcgonagall is makin' it seem like ya gettin' into trouble aye?" Hagrid walked in carrying a big black bag full of what you assumed to be full of decorations.
