Here you sat at your local Slytherin common room. It was luxurious looking. The sea creatures could be observed from the windows and you felt yourself intrigued more than ever to begin your journey at Hogwarts. It was your second last year. Time essentially flew.

Observing everything around you, students seem to have grown to be very close. Giggling and wrapping their lanky arms with one another.

Happiness.

And you were the odd one out.

The typical 'outcast' in the room. Your silent demeanor spoke it all for you as some of the Slytherins gave you a quick glance to take in your appearance.

You knew Slytherins stuck together yet you had never experienced that. You never had anyone pique interest in you. Maybe because you were a Half-blood and they only talked to Pure-bloods. Maybe you were sorted wrong and weren't cunning enough.

Maybe it was just, you.

So you stand at the back and observe everyone else's back. Having seen enough, you exited. Leaving the common room in order to go the Great Hall for some lunch.

The same atmosphere was observed outside, they were laughing, hugging one other in their own personal reunions. Displaying their friendship out to the public as if they were indirectly telling you 'to do better' than Marissa and London.

Yet you were glad you knew how it felt to be cared for and appreciated by somebody. You were glad you had Marissa and London. Even if they were 'nobodies' to the Slytherins.

Surprisingly, Dumbledore had called you to visit him after talking to Hagrid

Eyeing the watch on your wrist, you decided to wait five more minutes. You wanted to ensure everyone was out of the Slytherin common room.

"Hilarious isn't it?" You hear someone from behind you. Your eyebrows furrowed as you recognized that familiar laughter. Turning around you observe the three friends. Crabbe, Goyle and Draco. "You could have seen the look on Potters face--"

Draco's eyes narrowed towards yours.

"My, my, what is my nerdy Y/N doing here?" He asked with a grin. You eyed him cautiously.

"Leave now with your chubby friends. I wish nothing to do with you." You say, your eyebrows furrowing further. Crabbe and Goyle looked offended but Draco took a moment to snicker.

"Say what you want L/N, but a prefect mustn't act so disrespectful. Especially to a Malfoy." He now began walking away from his two allies and up to you. "Remember that I hold a lot more power and control over you." He said. Crabbe and Goyle only nodded. You stifled a chuckle.

What power and control? The one that makes you a coward?

"That's great to know Draco, but I would really appreciate if we all just left the room now...or shall I force you all out?" You ask, threateningly. Ignoring his previous statement.

He grit his teeth.

"I am a prefect as well, you may have noticed sweetheart, shall I force you out of the room?" He challenged. You stood your ground with an arrogant stare appointed towards him.

"You're a prefect but you don't act like one. Especially with these two goofballs by your side, how is anyone going to take you seriously?" You respond with a smug expression. Hoping he would get the point and leave, your days have already been disastrous.

Crabbe and Goyle eyed each other before walking up to you in a hurried motion, almost as if they would start clawing you right there, however they were stopped by Draco's arm.
