"What are you doing at my office Miss L/N?"
Your pupils dilated as your eyes met his again. You hated to admit it but his eyes drove you crazy. You felt his gaze burn through, all your insecurities revealing in front of him. But those thoughts quickly went away as you felt him grab your shoulders, not too rough and pushed you back enough for your body to jolt.
"I knew you would be in here...so I didn't bother to wait outside the class." You replied honestly. "And sorry for bumping into you again, it wasn't on purpose I swear." You stated looking away from his intense eyes.
The hallway was quiet, everyone was having their free time whilst you were about to serve detention.
"Now must I remind you of the rules again? Go inside the classroom and start tidying up." He said. He gave you one more glance and then turned and headed back inside the room, slamming the door shut. Making you wince.
What's his problem? Always in a grumpy mood...maybe I should do something for him? No. I'm being ridiculous again. I can't do that for him, not when we underestimates me and treats me like dog poop.
Your legs started carrying you away from his staff room.
But it's weird, he would usually snap at me for falling at his chest or touching him accidentally.

You managed to tidy up the classroom in time before Professor Snape arrived. And by the look of the shiny tables, swept up wooden floor and clean chalkboard, you knew you did a great job. But now your robes were covered with chalk. Eh. Like you did care.
You were now waiting for him to arrive, constantly checking the door.
At last, it finally opened with the help of magic. Professor Snape walked in and shut the door by the flick of his hand. You wondered how he had been so quick to master nonverbal magic at his young age. It would have taken an average Wizard half their life span.
You sat up straighter in fright.
"Miss L/N. I assume you think it's a detention lesson but I can assure you, it's not." He stood tall in front of your desk eyeing you curiously.
"Unfortunately." He let the word linger for a moment. To let you know that he did not condemn Dumbledore's actions.
You simply nodded. Once he saw you nod, he bit his lip and gave you a nod of his own. To which you didn't pay much attention to.
"Shall we get going then?" He said as if in cue.
He walked swiftly towards his front desk and grabbed a bunch of parchment papers out of his drawer. You tried to take a glance at a few of them that he was covering with his black sleeve.
He stopped searching for papers as he could feel you staring. "No. Peeking." His eyes were stern. And you gulped.
"Sorry Professor." You muttered.
You looked away feeling guilty for being nosy. You placed a hand under your chin as you stared at nothingness. Drawing imaginary circles in your mind. Then triangles and squares. Geometrical shapes calmed you. Maybe it was the feeling of symmetry that gave you pure bliss— you will never know.
But for some reason you found those imaginary circles becoming more distorted by the second until you felt a throbbing sensation take over. You clenched your head with your hands and squinted your eyes. "What the hell?!" You squirmed.
Then the hazy distorted image was slowly returning back to its original form. Your headache disappearing almost instantly.
"Relax your mind." His deep voice stirred you out of your lucid state.
