Powerful winds brushed against me as I fell closer to the burning flames below me. I wanted to end it all. No, Eri and I wanted to end it all. We couldn't take this nightmare anymore. There was no hope for us...no one could ever go against Deku...at all. Eri gripped onto me tightly and I turned to face the flames. Well...this is it, I thought, smiling. I closed my eyes tightly, awaiting my fate. But...I stopped. Why did I stop? I opened my eyes and I cried. Damn you Deku. I was stopped in thin air, inches away from the fire. Eri lifted her head and she looked around.

"Why...did we stop?" She asked. There was a chuckle and I looked to see who it was. Deku levitated next to me and he grinned widely.

"You think...you think you could die on my watch? You really thought you could leave me?!" He raised his voice, floating us up back on the building.

No...let me go...

Tears escaped from my eyes and I was settled down on the roof. Deku snatched the gun and the button from my hand and he laughed.

"I know you wouldn't have pulled the trigger. Now, that doesn't matter...just wait and see as everything crumbles!"

"Deku no-!"

The sound of explosions rang through my ears, dust and pieces of buildings flew through the air, and the sound of screams was all that was noticeable to me. The smell of smoke clouded my lungs and my eyes had a burning sensation. He did it...he pressed the button. I huddled into a ball, covering my eyes to block out the loud explosions. I opened my eyes slowly, having tears run down my face as I stared at the destruction. More buildings were on fire, large amounts of the ground was destroyed and hundreds and thousands...of people laid dead on the ground. Some were underneath parts of buildings, some were too close to the blasts and were missing half of their body, and some still struggled to live and call for help. I got up on my feet and I could only stare with wide eyes. Everything was destroyed...everything was taken away from these people...they didn't deserve to die. Deku bit down on his fist as he tried to hold back a laugh.

"I did it. I did it. I did it!" He exclaimed as he leaned over the edge of the building that we still stood on. He giggled and he stepped off the building, levitating himself.

"It's safe now! Come on!" He told the villains. They all leaped off of the tall building, falling to the ground, only to be stopped by Deku. Deku levitated to me and he lifted me and Eri up in the air. We also went off of the building, landing safely on the ground. Everything was a disaster. Toga and Twice twirled around, hand in hand, dancing around dead bodies and fires. It was a horrific scene.

"Everything is almost complete. Right master?" Shigaraki asked All for One.

"Don't worry Tomura. Everything will be ready soon." He replied, walking next to me and patting my head.

"You've been of good service to us. I appreciate it." He said, walking away from me. I couldn't react. I felt empty. Just nothing. I felt Eri grab my hand but I didn't look down at her. My eyes were focused on Deku. His back was facing me, he was staring at a fire in front of him.

"Did I do it? Did they leave now?" Deku asked, throwing his arms to the side, admiring the destruction. He turned around and tears rolled down his face with a smile. His eyes...were green.

"Please answer me. Did the voices leave? Can they finally leave us in peace?" He asked desperately. He walked up to me, placing his arms around my waist.

"Can I ever be the same guy you loved?" He muttered. I stared lifelessly into his emerald eyes, giving him no response. Eri let go of my hand, being pulled away by Chisaki. Deku lowered his hand to grasp mine...it felt so cold.

"Let's go. I wanna celebrate with you." he said, walking me away from the fires that burned everything in their path. Tears fell from my eyes but there was not a single sound that escaped from me. At this point there was no hope for me now...or anyone.
