SCARING BOYS 101.
"Guys there's one thing I have noticed." Sean spoke quietly. "Sang rubs her temple at times. I think it's when a headache is starting or she's feeling upset and overwhelmed by having so much to deal with. She still forgets to tell me if she has a headache, so keep an eye out for that, go easy if you spot it and let me know."
The boys continued their discussion on how best to help her through the turmoil and to show Sang how much they cared, until they heard a soft giggle and murmuring from the couch. Grinning at each other Gabe walked over and peered over the back of the couch. "Oy! Trouble. What are you up to?" He grinned down at her.
"Hi Meanie. Xavier just woke me up. He tried to chew my nose or something. It tickled." Sang giggled looking up at Gabe as the cat continued to sit on her stomach and play. "He is so gorgeous, isn't he Meanie." Sang sighed happily as Gabe came and sat down with her. Gabe grabbed her and sat her on his lap snuggling her up to him tightly.
"You and I need to talk Trouble." Gabe stated seriously.
"Why? What's happened, Meanie. Did I do something wrong?" Sang asked suddenly worried.
"Fuck yes, there's something wrong. How come you got to play with chemicals and blow shit up and I never have. Where's the justice in that?" Gabe snorted trying not to laugh. "So you have to promise me that if you're near any chemicals any time I have to be there too. Okay? Just in case. I hate missing out."
"Okay, Meanie. I promise." Sang said giggling and snuggling in further looking relieved.
"Meanie?" Sang whispered.
"Yeah, Trouble." Gabe whispered back still talking in French.
"Did you like my Grammy and Grampa?"
Gabe wrapped his arms around Sang even tighter and rested his head on top of hers watching Xavier curl himself around his Trouble's feet. He sighed. "I will always be sorry that I never had the honour to meet them Trouble. They were the best people I've never met. It makes me happy that you had them while you could. It makes me sad you don't have them anymore."
"And fuck, I gotta say it. Your Grammy had style! You looked like an angel one minute and a little bit bad ass the next. It takes talent to pull that off, Trouble. But if you ever play with fucking spiders again I will ground your pretty ass for life. Understood!" Gabe grinned.
Sang smiled back. "Understood. Although playing with spiders isn't on my list of things to do."
"Pleased to fucking hear it, Trouble." He said as they sat there just enjoying each other's company.
"They would have loved you Gabriel. They would have snaffled you up and never let you go."
"Aw, Trouble. You're always so fucking cute."
"So Meanie. Have you ever thought about making a jet pack? Because I think we could totally do it, you know." Sang said breaking their happy silence while twisting her head and grinning at him just as Luke walked up.
"Watch her buddy. That's all I'm fucking saying." Gabe muttered to Luke as he walked off shaking his head.
"What have you been doing to Gabe, sweetie?" Luke asked grabbing his girl and holding her close. "Nothing, Luke." Sang said wide eyed. "God, you're still the world's worst liar Sang. You do know that, right?" Smirking as she blushed.
"Just so you know Cupcake, I think your grandparents were the best there ever was." Luke eventually spoke up bending her over his arm and kissing her forehead. "I would have loved to have been there with you."
