BULL'S EYE AND APPLE PIE

Sang, Kota and Nathan pulled up at Nathan's house in the late afternoon with their tail in tow. Nathan gave her a hug and kiss before leaving for the diner to see if their tail would follow him or wait for Kota.

Luke and Gabe had gone to the diner to start a shift earlier when Sang had been out with Mr Blackbourne. North and Silas were meeting them there.

Kota carried Sang's bag in for her and dropped it in Nathan's father's old room. She may not have been in there all that much, but a girl needed her space and it had been decided that this was the best solution.

"Sweetie, Silas will sneak out the back of the diner, and come the long way round and meet you here shortly." Kota said looking anxious and giving her a long hug.

"Stop worrying Kota. Everything will fine. Nothing can go wrong. This plan is foolproof." Sang said smiling happily, as she grabbed clothes to wear for her little adventure with Silas. "It won't take us long and I'll come down to the diner when I'm done."

"Not by yourself you won't!" Kota exclaimed. "Dr Green's shift will finish soon and he's going to meet you here, make sure you're okay and bring you to the diner for dinner."

"So you come back here with Silas, and wait for him if he isn't here by the time you're done. You don't need to improvise, you just need to wait. Please Sang. Don't change the plan."

Sang frowned at Kota. "Okay, but what are you worried about exactly? Do you not remember before I met all of you that I used to be by myself all the time?"

"And why would I change the plan?" She continued. "It's my plan and its a good one. You know it is. I hit the tyre. Silas removes the dart. We walk away. You guys do the rest. It's why we're all the diner at once, except Mr Blackbourne and Victor and we know they're monitoring cameras, and North was going to mess with the other tail when Silas leaves.

"It's my job to worry, sweetie."

"And you're doing an excellent job of it, Kota. But you're here now, Silas will be with me soon and he will probably stay until Sean arrives. What are you worried about?" Sang huffed, starting to feel a little annoyed.

Seeing this, Kota moved to calm her down. He did not want to be responsible for breaking Dr Green's advice and not stay calm. Hell, he was supposed to be the calmest out of everybody. This should be easy, and normally it would be.

Except Sang was usually focused and remembered conversations. The last thing they needed was for her to change the plan and decide to confront whoever was in that damn car. He thought, sighing as he hugged her. "I'm sorry, Sang. I'm still a little edgy since you got concussion. I hate you being hurt."

"It's not your fault Kota." Sang replied suddenly feeling mean. Before tears could start Silas came in the back door.

"Aggele mou, where are you?" He called, walking into the lounge room. "Everything okay here?" He asked picking up on Kota's slight stress and Sang's upset look.

"Everything's fine, Silas. Is that tail still there?" Kota replied. Seeing him nod he beeped Sang's nose. "Behave." He grinned lightening the mood. "I'll see you both later." He said looking at Silas as he walked out.

"Hi Aggele." Silas grinned widely, grabbing Sang for one of his hugs. He'd got the message loud and clear from Kota as he left. 'Not a hair out of place, brother. Don't change the plan.' Considering North had been at him for the past hour, he wasn't likely to forget.

But in the meantime, he could enjoy spending time with Sang until it was dark enough to do what they planned. "You look gorgeous, Aggele." He flirted. "Love the dress."
