Chapter 13

NAGMAMADALI akong nagtungo sa pinto nang marinig ko na ang pagkatok ni Rodean. Nang buksan ko ito ay agad ko siyang sinalubong ng yakap at halik sa pisngi. He held me on my waist for support.

"Good morning," he greeted as he smiled.

"Good morning!"

Pumasok na siya sa loob ng hotel room ko habang dala-dala ang room service cart. Tulad ng nakasanayan ay inihain niya ang mga dalang almusal sa hapag. I was smiling from ear to ear as I watched him. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow before smirking.

I chuckled while feeling the growing hotness of my cheeks.

Rodean and I were officially a couple. Just yesterday. Right after he told me that he wanted to be with me more than being successful first, I immediately declared us as boyfriend and girlfriend. Baka magbago pa ang isip niya, e. 'Tsaka I didn't think that we should still go through courting stage.

Not that I didn't give importance nor I didn't give respect to courtship, though. It's just that... we both knew that we already like each other and we were already willing to be with each other, so... what's the point of panliligaw pa?

"Anything else?" He moved closer to me and encircled his arm around my waist. He then kissed my cheek.

I smiled sweetly at him. "Join me on breakfast. Dito ka muna."

Naningkit ang mga mata niya sa akin na para bang nagsususpetsa ng kung ano. "Gustong-gusto mo talaga akong masolo rito sa kuwarto mo, ha? You're taking advantage of you, being a guest. And me being a poor worker in this hotel who had nothing to do but follow your demands."

"Huy, hindi, ah! Grabe ka. 'Tsaka bakit, masama ba na gusto kong makasama ang boyfriend ko sa pagbe-breakfast?"

He raised his eyebrow and stared at me in amusement. I gave him a pleading look that made him sigh. He dropped his forehead against mine before nodding once.

"Alright, let's have breakfast," aniya habang marahang ikinikiskis ang tungki ng ilong sa tungki ng ilong ko. "Kahit kaaalmusal ko lang kanina."

I chuckled. "You have no choice, Mr. Contejo."

"Tss." He swiftly kissed me on the lips before pulling away.

Pigil na pigil ang kilig ko kaya napakagat na lamang ako sa aking pang-ibabang labi bago nagtungo sa upuan sa hapag. Naupo siya sa tabi ko at nagsimula na kaming kumain.

Hanggang ngayon ay para bang hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na noong unang tapak ko rito ay para lang kaming mga aso't pusa. Now, we're being too clingy to each other and getting extra sweet. Does this really happen if you like someone that much?

Kasi parang ngayon ko pa lang naman ito naramdaman. I had boyfriends before, but I wasn't clingy. I wasn't too head over heels. It was like there was no magnetic attraction that pulled me to stay longer with them.

Itong relasyon ko kay Rodean ngayon, halos mangiyak-ngiyak ako noong akala ko'y hindi niya ako gusto. Ngayong kami na, sobrang clingy ko at gusto ko, araw-araw kaming magkasama. I've never been like this to my past boyfriends. I've never been this giddy and excited every time I was going see him. Kay Rodean pa lang.

O baka rin kasisimula pa lang naman kasi namin kaya ako ganito. Baka masyado lang talaga akong nae-excite. Baka kapag nagtagal...

Wala sa sarili akong napanguso sa kaisipang iyon. Would I get bored with him when our relationship grew longer? Or... would this relationship even last longer?

Napatingin ako sa kaniya sa aking tabi na kasalukuyan nang kumakain. I smiled and reached for his hand. Nagbaling siya ng tingin sa akin at nagtaas ng dalawang kilay bilang pagtatanong.
