Soon we had lunch where everything went pretty well...well except:

Flashback:

"Laura do you have a bf now?":-Mary asked and my eyes widened at the question.

Slowly raising my head to meet her eyes I saw how everyone at the table had stopped what they were doing..well except Ash..he was on his phone typing with god knows who.

"Um..no I dont":-i released my answer with a deep breath and offered her a genius smile:-"lately many things happened and a relationship wasnt something I could afford adding in my plate."

All this time Ash didnt even show interest,I know he heard me but he didnt show any kind of emotions.

"What about the "charity" ball?":-Sara joined.Ash still didnt move.

Now feeling kind of bold at his uninterested behaviour I decided to why not spice the conversation up.

"Humm about the ball I have decided with my friend Sergei to go there.He will choose me and I will accept and we will go on a date.Its all planned.":-I said as calmly and innoncent I could master and returned to my food knowing damn well I had hit the right spot.

Not later after everyone passed their shock state I heard somebody shift in their sit and I knew damn well who it was without even needing to look up.

"Im sorry something emergent happened I need to take my leave";-Ash said while getting up from his chair and putting his napkin down.

"But honey you didnt even have the dessert?":-Mary said worried completely not understanding the situation.

"No mom I need to go,right now.":-Ash replied again and left the table.

My inner-self smirked.The reaction in his face was priceless.He looked like he was trying so hard to contain himself from breaking everything there and then.So no matter how irrevelant he acts his inner self still cares huh?well it will be fun watching how much can he resist when he sees me with Sergei.

Just for your information Sergei is one of my very close friends.He is so gay but still hasnt came out so nobody except me,his family and some other close friends know,he loves me like a sister and is very good at acting so he is the perfect one for this job.I met him on my sisters wedding.

"You didnt have why to pin the guy like that.":-Chris said with a chuckle while he entered my room(after knocking ofc).

I was brought to one of the guest rooms upstairs but soon I will go back to the apartment I bought years ago in here.But for tonight I will stay here.

"I dont know what you are talking about.":-I asked my acting skills on point.

"Cmon now Laura,getting Asher back is one thing but using Sergei to do this its another one...if only Asher knew how gay he is.":-Chris ended.

"Wha-how do you?":-I asked surprised.

"He tried to hit on me years ago drunk on a party":-Chris said with a chuckle.

Damn I should tell dat bitch to control his hormones..we cant have anyone know..not now at least.damn for sure he will try to get in Ashers pants too if I dont stop him😂.

"I was jealous he didnt show interest when I was explaining my personal life":-iIadmited ashamed.

"Maybe cuz he knows everything about it already":chris mumbled under his breath.

"Mm sorry?":-I asked confused.

"Nothing nothing...":-Chris said.

Next morning...

Waking up this morning was hard,harder than it already was before😂i was so tired from the traveling but I had to move on today back to my apartment.Man it will be super hard but I have to..that apartment holds too many memories of me and Asher.

After having my breakfast I choose my comfy yet elegant outfit for the day and after taking my luggage I drived to the place.The apartment was already fully furnitured so I had just to carry my clothes.After the car stopped I thanked Chris driver who was polite enough to offer me a ride and I made my way inside.

Choosing the stairs like always memories started flashing at me...
