"I think this is the house"-Chloe said while pressing the bell. Since just like I predicted the number was valid we had to call Tim to investigate on this and as excpected he found all the needed information including her adress too. "Yes.I believe that yes.":-I said unsure as my thoughts were interrupted as a lady in her late 30s appeared at the door. "Hello my name is-" "I know who you are come in":-the lady said in a gentle tone as she started leading the way without sparing another glance. "That was weird":-Chloe admitted in a whisper as she started following her. "Please take a sit":-the woman said as she sat on one of the couches of her living room. "Look we dont have much ti-" "This is gonna be a long conversation as I believe you have many questions so I would suggest you to sit down"-the old woman repeated in a more fierce voice but still not to the rate to sound rude making me and Chloe sit without another word.

"As I believe you already know I used to be your nanny":-the woman said making me nod in confirmation.-"I was just a teenager who needed some extra cash and indipedence from her family..unprofesional for the job but thanks to my not-noisy or touchy nature I got the job fast.Your parents were never home for some reason so I could do whatever I wanted without being controllled.As every teenager of course I spent most of the time chatting with my friends on phone never caring about what you guys were doing at any moment.I never even created a bond with you guys first as I always shut every conversation you tried to open with me.You were a bubbly girl full of life just asking from me to compensate the love you never took from your parents and now turning back remembering that,I feel bad that I always rejected it.But I was just a teenager so I never gave it a second thought.I had promised to myself that I wasnt going to get atached by any of you but this happened to come to an end the day I made the biggest mistake of my life.One day since your parents were never home I decided to throw a party at your house with my friends...I put you guys to sleep upstairs and made sure to lock both your doors..or so I thought.During the night when I was passed out on the couch from too much alcohol your brother had sneaked off his room and came downstairs.Appearantly my friends had talked a lot with him that night..and let me tell you..my old friends werent the best people out there..actually far from that.All I know is that the things were never gonna be the same from that night...and I should have noticed it from the life fading out of you each day more..if I wasnt too busy in my own world of course" "Wait,why?what happened?"-Chloe asked completely clueless but I was too far covered in tears to give her an explanation.

Sighing at herself Leyla got up and opening one of the drawers she took from it a small CD and handed it to me. "Here..this is something your parents left for you before they died with a strict demand to be opened only by you":-she said leaving it in my hands before saying:-"Look Laura there is nothing that can justify my actions..not even my young age..I should not have taken over a responsibility I couldnt keep..its all my fault for everything and there has never been a day I havent cried to myself to sleep and not even a single night that your cries havent haunted me since the day I learned about the truth" "When did you learn about it?"-I asked with a half-voice staring at the CD in my hands not having the heart to look up at her eyes. "The day your family left.It was a storm night and you couldnt sleep alone.Brendon offered to sleep with you and despite your protests I allowed him without thinking much,annoyed as always.Some minutes later the front door opened and your parents appeared at the door.Surprised at their sudden appearance I just told them I had put you to sleep together upstairs and started to get ready to leave.As your parents went upstairs I started putting on my coat deciding to leave despite the storm going but the sound of a scream stopped me midway.Soon your mom came downstairs with you in her arms...I noticed how your pyjamas top was slightly ripped and I immediately guessed what must have happened.Immediately your dad came downstairs dragging your brother too and shouted to us to get out.The ride to my home was full of tension and your parents were furious."Told you we shouldnt have let them that much alone":-your dad whispered from time to time."But they would get too atached and hurted later":-your mom said to him and I didnt understand why.After that night the only time i saw them was when your dad dropped by my house and left me this CD.I noticed how his eyes had black circles under almost as if he was in the verge of death so I promised to him that when the day came for you to learn the truth I would not hide it.":-Leyla confessed as a tear which I didnt recognise as mine falled into the PC.
