PART 29

Making my way up the stairs memories started flashing in my mind.Countless times I have carried Ashs drunk arse up this stairs,everytime it was because I was called by him to pick him from a club,and every damn time I was too stubborn to take the elevator.

As soon as I reached my apartments door I took the keys and unlocked it.Entering inside I noticed how nothing had changed.Guess my family didnt move anything from here.Making my way to the kitchen counter I steadied myself on it and inhaled a deep breath.So many memories were flooding in my mind but I held them back.But one of them was stronger than my will;

Flashback

It was already 1 am and I was still working in one of my books.I was editing some papers on my pc while enjoying the citys view from my glass wall with a cup of tea(so aesthetic).After deciding I had done enough I called it a day and made my way to the bathroom.I was staying here for some time because I had some works to finish then I would turn back to Switzerland.

I had just changed into my pijamas and rolled into bed when my phone rang.Wondering who could be calling at this hour I picked it up just to hear Ashers voice from the other line.Chuckling at his sleepy tone I answered;

"Hi Ash why are you calling?Couldnt it really wait for tomorrow?"

"I just wanted to hear your voice":-he responded.

"You know we just hanged out this morning right?"

"I know..."

"Then why would you call me right now too then?"

"Cuz youur the only thing keeping me sane in this world"

Smiling at him I responded:-"Do you have anything else to say before I hang up?"

"Yes":-he responded without hesitating.

"What now?".-I asked again.

"Sei cosi bella cazzo"

HANG UP

(ignore my bad italian and warning:this scene was recreated in my own way from an italian movie)

translation:"You are so fucking beautiful"

Back on the present...

How damn much I wished I knew about Ashers feelings back then,cuz now hearing it rings different in my ears...and especially in my heart.

Shaking my head and wiping away some tears I didnt knew that had slipped at first I made my way to my bedroom only to be interrupted by the bell.Suprised by who could it be I went and opened the door to find there the last person I was expecting to see...

There in front of my doorway where ash used to wait all the time stood now an elegant woman at her finest...I immediately recognised her...how could I forget her face?

It was Victoria...
