"Ash?":-I asked now my curiousity peaking.
"Yup Asher":-Chloe responded.
"What might he have wanted?And why didnt El tell me anything about it?":-I asked again now more and more questions flowing in my mind.
"I dont know honestly":-Chloe said:-"but not something good for sure,I mean valentines passed so I dont believe it could be a surprise":-she said in a sarcastic way.
Syddenly the phone ringed.
"I will answer it":-El yelled from the other room running inside but Chloe was faster than her and had already answered it.
"No":-El shouted yanking the phone from chloes hands but it seemed it was too late now as the last one had already stopped fighting for it.
Chloe stood there at the counter totally frozen with a mouth hanged totally not believing her ears with tears running down her face.
"Im sorry":-El whispered now tears flowing down her cheeks too.
"Girls what its going on?":-I asked comfused at the situation.
"You knew it,all this time you did":-Chloe said pointing an accusing finger at El.
"Im sorry":-El repeated again before falling at her knees crying.
"You should had told Laura at least":-Chloe said between grifting teeths.
"Im sorry I didnt know how you two would react":-El said again totally broken making me go mad.
"GIRLS.WHATS.GOING.ON?":-I shouted now totally angry at their ignoring behaviour.
The girls only turned towards me with tears and getting up El looked towards chloe as if asking her what to do and sighing Chloe said:
"Laura you need to know something but please stay calm":-Chloe said coming towards me as if trying to show a wild animal she means no harm.
"Chloe how can I assure you i will stay calm when my two bestfriends are literally keeping a secret at me,and an important one at that"
"There was a body found...it is Asher":-Chloe finally whispered.
And thats how I saw my life literally passing through my eyes.
"Wha-?":-I asked.
"He is gone..Asher is gone":-El repeated while broking into crying again.
"T-there is no chance he is gone":-I said:-"he cant leave me":-I said not believing at their sick joke.
"Im sorry":-El repeated.
Silence
Tears
Broken dreams
Silence
Total silence...
"LAURA":- El shouted but it was too late.I was already running towards the door and getting out.I have always believed my apartment was too high and the way to it was so long but for me today it was longer than it had ever been before.
I was running for my life,I couldnt feel my feet,my thoat was burning and yet I didnt wanna give up,they said only if it is a matter of life and death?well for me now it was a matter of heaven and hell...
Running outside I was faced with a strong wind and the rain was a lot heavier than before.Ignoring the pain on my twisted ankle I runned and runned without stopping.Ash cant be dead,he cant leave me alone,not now.Not caring anymore to wipe the tears knowing it wouls be useless anyways I just continued my way.
Why did this have to happen to me?why does it always have to be me?all I asked about was a peaceful life and this is what I get.God I know I havent always been a good person but please dont do this to me...
Behind me I could hear police sirens and shouts but right now everything else was a blur,right now nothing else mattered..the world could shatter at my feet..but I still wouldnt stop trying to go into that place..
