Flashback 10 years ago(14 yo)

I just got back from school and as always rushed to dads home office.As I open the door I see that there was mom and aleandra too.Alea was holding one of moms and dads wedding pics back and babbling to my parents about how much she looks alike dad while they looked at her with total adoration in their eyes.All these years I have always believed I was the one who looked a lot like dad but my parents would always support my sis.

Shrugging my thoughts off I closed the door and greeted them.As always they greeted me too and invited me to sit over while asking me how my day was.

But I didnt respond to them.Somehow I felt numb staring at my sister who was watching the pics again with adoration.

"Laura?Laura?":-my dad called me:-"are you ok you went into space."

"Dont feed people with lies":-was all I said before sprinting out of their office smashing the door in the process.

Flashback five years ago (19 yo)

I was sitting at one of those fancy dinners while all the mafia familys were present and I couldnt help but be nervious.It was the first time after all these years that my parents had brought me in one of these events(well after many arguings between me and them).All the mafia was there,even the knights,except their son,the heir of the throne,I heard he was far away on training preparing for his future responsibility,to be the next leader.

My thoughts were interrupted by a man who was offering me a drink.Shaking my head in a polite manner I declined his offer because the last thing I wanted right now was to drink.But the man still sat in the seat opossite me.He was staring at me like some predator stares at his prey.Now everyone had turned their attention at us wondering what was going on.

"I didnt knew there was another Falcone":-the man said after some time chuckling darkly still staring at me like he was taking every detail of mine and carving it in his mind.

"Jonathan stop-":-my dad said but was stoped by some bodyguards.

I was trying so hard to act like I was unbothered but it was hard under the pressure of the situation.

"You are nothing like your family:"-he continued smirking evilly again:-"maybe thats because you arent one at all."

Tears started to gather but I was not gonna let him see me cry.

"Jonathan Im telling you again sto-":my dad said again struggling against the bodyguards who were trying to prevent a fight from starting.

"Cmon now Marcos":-the man said getting up making his chair fall down with a thud and making me flinch:-"we all know about your wifes affair with a low poor disgraceful man."

This made my eyes widen and everyone present in the ball gasp.In that moment my dad pushed past the bodyguards and punched the man but I was already running outside by then.

"LAURA!":-was the only thing I heard before I entered the dark cold forest.

20 miutes later

I was so tired by now.I was sitting by the bench of a tree.My feet were killing me,I was lost,my face was red,my eyes puffy and I had no more tears to cry but still all I could think about was that mans words "you arent a Falcone.".we all know your wife had an affair"
