Dont you have a date yourself?-Laura asked out of curiousity.

"No I dont":-Ash simply replied.

"Oh dont tell me that Victoria girl isnt here to entertain you?how bad":-she said her voice dripping sarcasm but stopped as soon as she heard a deep chuckle.

"Are you jealous":-Ash asked well aware of the girls emotions.

"M-me no ofc not why would I anyways?its your life right?":-she responded sounding more like she was trying to convience herself.

"Ofc ofc":-Ash said chuckling again.

"Hey Im talking for real i dont care what you two do together its your life-"Laura started but was interrupted by the sound of a ringing which was coming from Ashs phone which was right next to where she was sitting.

"Talk about the devil and he shall appear":-Laura said while looking at the screen and handing it to a smirking Ash who was enjoying every minute of her CLEAR jealousy.

"Hi Asher":-Victorias voice came from the other line and the duo had a small conversation before Ash closed the phone and turned back to his job completely ignoring Laura again.

"She doesnt have a nickname for you?":-Laura said while snickering:-"so less for such CLOSE FRIENDS."

"She never asked for permision to have one":-Ash replied,the smirk remaining on his face.

"Like I did that I do":-Laura mumbled.

"Yes you did if you havent already forgoten"-:Ash said laughing at the memory.

"Eyo that doesnt count I wasnt in the right state of my mind":-Laura whined.

"It does,it does.:-Ash said..

Flashback

(This is the time when Laura and Ashs friendship had just started developing)

"Hiya Ash"-a drunk Laura said while aproaching him.It was a sunday night and they had decided to go to a club. "Whats up?":-Asher said chuckling at her state:-"trying not to fall on your arse on those high heels" Pouting at him Laura responded:-"Actually I was hoping to fall...so I could end in any guys lap..you know I saw some handsomes roaming around the club." At her statement it was Ashers time to pout now."Awww is little Ash angry at me?":-Laura said pinching his cheeks. "Leave it":-Asher said playfully slapping her hand away before comprehending her full sentence:-"Wait what did you just call me?" "What did I call you?":-Laura said forgeting what she said. "You called me Ash":-Asher said genuinly smiling at her. "Are you angry at me for calling you that":-Laura said while looking at him with puppy eyes. "No I actually love it":-Asher said smiling even wider..after all...he could get used to this...

Flashback end

Present time

"It doesnt count"-:a stubborn Laura still continued.

"It does babe..you asked for it yourself":-Ash said again.

"Asking or not she as your bestfriend should have the priority to call you that":-Laura said still not letting the matter go.

"Well I dont want that name coming from anyones mouth other than yours"-:Ash huskily said leaving speechless Laura":-it just doesnt feel right":-he added before going back to his work making the place go silent...
