Dave's POV
The Surr faction.
Tee and I walked into the building. "Okay listen… you do not say anything. I'll do the talking, while you just- watch" I addressed Tee who just stared at me stolidly.
"But why do you want to know this place anyway…"
He looks at his palm and sighs, before walking further.
Inside the building, we met Harold, Brian, and Kate. "Dave. What is this?…" Harold questioned.
Kate stands from her seat. "You were asked to tell no one about this place… how dare you bring someone here?… I should sever your head from your neck"
Tee walks in front of me. Standing between Kate and me. "I am a vampire. I come to join in the conquest to raise Surr" he says.
Brian claps. "I knew it… I just knew that compelling you didn't work that day. I knew something was wrong"
Before Tee could talk, Brian pinned him to a wall and stab him in the chest with a dagger. "Argh…" Tee groans in pain.
He pushes the dagger deeper in. "Stop… If you kill him I won't read the scroll"
Kate grabs my collar and lifts me off my feet. "Listen, boy… you don't have a choice about reading the scroll. If you don't, I will just kill you and everyone you've ever known"
"Pretty sure Mr. Carter says no harm to the kid," Harold says.
Kate let's go off my collar and turn to Brian. Brian growls and pull the dagger out. He leans close to Tee's ear. "Probably not today, but I will kill you," he says before walking away.
The year 726
Somewhere in Greenleaf.
My mother made the same mistake my ancestors did. She created something she had no control over.
As she created these beings, she saw a different prophecy from the one already written. Vampires bringing chaos to everyone and everything in this world.
I, Eleanor, the daughter of the witch Helen, have no experience whatsoever on how to reverse the spell.
"Eleanor… I hope you don't forget our pact. We help you hold down the first vampires as you block their powers and ours… we want to have children and family" Daisy, one of the Sectis stated, reminding Eleanor of the deal they had conjured.
Eleanor replied by nodding her head. Her face was buried in the little book in front of her which she wrote in.
"Once again, I'm sorry for what happened to your mother"
Eleanor hissed. "I told you to stop bringing that up"
"I apologize… we are going to help you stop them not only because of the way they control us. The first vampires have gone from saving the world from Herids to killing them. Just in the past nine years, they have killed so many people that we can't count" she revealed.
"I know…"
Yes. With the help of the Sectis, I will end what my mother started.
She stated that the Sectis have nothing to do with the reign of the vampires. The two first vampires being alive is what will cause the doom of this world.
I can not kill the first vampires, none of us can. But I have found a way to lock their powers deep down in them. And hopefully, they never get to access it again.
