We're home now and Harry's rushing to my door to open it. After eating at Rita's, we sat on the hood of his car for a while on a hill to watch the city, and talked about his and my dad. He told me having a father is something he wish he could have back and that he never wants me to go through losing mine without saying goodbye. I assured him that my father's okay and in a good place on his own, but he insisted that I go and visit him. No one has ever encouraged me to, not even my mom or Ava when we were inseparable, but the passion behind his eyes were inspiring. He promised me that he's going to fly me to California over the summer to see him and I swear the other half of my heart resuscitated. I've always asked my mom and Alan to take me but they've always turned me down because of his old addiction thinking that he's going to hurt me or force me to become like him, but Harry's so persistent about this it gives me hope.

"Do you what to stay for a while?" I offer as he takes my hand to escort me out the car.

I love the smell of the fresh grass and newly grown leaves. The clear navy sky provides me the most relaxing comfort and the crickets chirping backing and forth adds the nostalgic feeling of my childhood. Nights like this my mom and I used to sit on the porch and talk about anything that came to mind. I miss that, and I know now with the twins coming that memories will only remain in the past.

"I'd love to but I've got some things to do." He shuts the door and gently presses my back to it, like always, and wraps his arms around me. I wish he didn't have to leave for London, but after thinking about it I think it'll be good for him. I know how much he misses his family and father and I never want to get in the way of him and them.

"Okay, well thanks for tonight, I had a lot of fun." Who knew the word 'fun' would come out of my mouth in times like this?

"We'll do this more often. Like going to the hill to watch the city." He smiles and I fidget with the lose strands of hair sticking out of his high bun.

"Yeah, we should do that." The butterflies in my stomach have tripled from the way he's looking at me, and I can't resist but to blush.

"You're adorable when your cheeks are flushed this way." He pinches my heated skin and kisses it, completely setting the butterflies free to spread through my body like a fire in a forest.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow then?" Have you ever held you breath for so long that you feel yourself dozing off? That's what I'm feeling.

"Yup, I'll pick you up in the morning."

"Sounds good," I sigh but I'm trying to get my breathing back to a steady pace. He's makes me so---giddy. "Thanks for everything, and really think about what I said about school. It's important and I believe in you."

"I know you do, and I will." His crooked smile plays its hypnosis burning my attempt to be serious into ashes and no matter how hard I try, I can never seem to fight it.

"Good," I squeeze his cheeks together and kiss his baby lips, "goodnight. I love you."

"I love you more." I should probably get that tattoo'd on me one day in quotes with his name. It makes my heart summersault in loops.

"Drive safety."

"Always do."

Like always, I count the bricks on the ground leading to the front door, and I can already hear the T.V. I turn back to Harry and he's in the same spot with his hand in his pocket as he waves with the other, and I blow him a heartfelt kiss. I wish he could stay the night but I know he's busy with whatever and I'm sure he wants his space.

"Wow, you actually listened." Alan raises a brow in surprise before I could even step in. A bowl of chip is opposite of him with a beer held lazily in his hand, and his Led Zeppelin t-shirt and grey ball shorts makes him look so much younger.
