Lisa POV
I crossed my arms under my chest as I continued to look down at the ground.
We were walking around town while window shopping and listening to street performers.
But not even the fact that my idol wanted to involuntarily hang out with me made me want to smile.
And I knew Emily was just trying to help me out, but I just didn't feel comfortable telling her about everything. Because the last two days have been really messed up. I know she was a therapist and that it was kind of her job to know everything about my problems and life story, but I didn't really care. I didn't really care about anything anymore.
"Lisa? Lisa," Taylor called out while waving her hand in front of my face. I snapped my head up in her direction.
"Yes?" I asked and she laughed shortly before looking across the street at a small café.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to that coffee place? Maybe get some drinks and food?" she suggested and I nodded before following her there.
Once we were inside, both Taylor and Emily ordered drinks and food, but I stayed back and didn't bother to order anything at all.
"Don't you want anything?" Emily asked and I shrugged while shaking my head. I didn't really feel like eating at all.
All I wanted to do was listen to Louis talk about pointless things, even if that meant calling him over and over again so I could hear his voicemail. But I couldn't.
Because I can't.
Taylor looked at me with a confused expression while Emily looked almost...upset?
I shrugged it off and decided to go find a table while they both waited for their food. I sat down and pulled out my phone. I tried to distract myself by going on Instagram and texting Aryanna, but none of it seemed to work. I kept getting tempted to press Louis' contact and hear his beautiful voice through the speaker.
I put my phone back in my purse and right as I did so, I heard it ring. I instantly felt a spark of hope light up in the pit of my stomach, but it instantly disappeared when I saw the contact name.
Catherine.
I instantly felt my blood boil as I quickly pressed the red button, indicating that I didn't want to talk to her.
She broke me and Louis up.
I turned off my phone all the way before stuffing it back into my purse and crossed my arms under my chest. I pursed my lips together just as both Emily and Taylor sat down at the table I was sitting at.
"Lisa, are you sure there's nothing you want to talk about? You seem a little out of sorts today," Taylor said and I felt my hands ball into fists.
Out of sorts was a huge understatement.
Louis POV
"What the hell, man?" I asked Harry before standing up. My legs felt stiff from sitting in the same position for almost twenty four hours, but I brushed it off.
My best mate was out with my girlfriend.
Ex-girlfriend.
"Louis, it wasn't like that at all," Harry said and I shook my head.
"What do you mean it wasn't like that at all? We come back from tour, you say you're going out, when in reality you spent the night with my," I began but stopped before finally choking out the word, "ex girlfriend."
"Louis, she needed help-"
"And what makes you think I didn't? I'm going through the same thing she is! We both were in this fight, we both ended up hurt! It takes two to tango. But what hurts is that you decided to go behind your best mate's back and supported his ex! How do you think I feel?" I yelled.
"You two haven't gone through the same thing, Louis. She's been through much worse since yesterday," he tried to explain, but I scoffed because I knew that wasn't true.
"Oh yeah? Tell me. What was it that made these past two days so much harder on Lisa than it was one me."
"It's not my place to tell."
"Harry, just tell me. I need to know why it was so bad that you had to stay with her overnight," I practically begged, but still in a stern tone.
"I really can't. It's not my business, and I think she would want to be the one to-"
"Just tell me, God dammit!" I shouted and he sighed before sitting down on the couch. I sat down next to him as he ran his hand through his hair before talking.
"She was... Well she got..." Harry trailed off.
"Harry, just tell me!" I yelled.
"She was raped!" he yelled back, as if he felt pressured into saying it. I instantly felt sorry.
"What? What do you mean she was-"
"I mean, I was driving home last night when I saw her unconscious in an alley. I took her to the hospital, and she woke up the next morning. As I was sitting with her on her couch when we got back from the hospital, she blurted it out. I know this may be hard for you to take, but it was harder for her to experience," Harry said and I put my head in my hands.
A whole lot of shit was about to go down.
