Lisa POV

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Hey, it's Harry," the deep voice said and I sighed.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"For you to hear Louis out," he said and I scoffed.

"He cheated on me. On my birthday, that's all I need to know. And if he really wanted to talk to me, why are you the one on the other line?" I asked and I heard a sigh on the other line.

"Because you never answered his calls," he said and I sat down against the wall, pulling my knees up to my chest with my free hand.

"Can I admit something to you?" I asked.

"Yeah, what is it?" he asked and I quickly thought of the right words to say.

"I love him, a lot. And he told me he loved me, too. I honestly cared about him a lot more than anyone else, because I didn't really have anyone else. I believed him when he said that I was the one he was in love with but when I came down and found him kissing another girl, on my birthday, it's hard to believe that what he said was true," I said and didn't allow any tears to fill my eyes. I've cried over him way too much in the past twenty four hours.

"So, you do love him?" he asked and I sighed.

"I really do. I don't know exactly what to think right now, but I just wish that he would show up with a huge bouquet of roses and a really sweet and sincere apology planned out, but then I realized that it will probably take a lot more than sorry to fix this," I said. I honestly just wanted this phone call to end.

"Well, I've got to go. I've got company," I lied and hung up the phone.

I put my head in between my knees and stayed in that position for a long time before a knock was heard at the door.

Louis POV

I parked my car in the parking lot of the hotel and ran out, not caring if the doors were locked or not. I ran inside to the receptionist and stopped when I reached her desk.

"May I help you?" she asked politely.

"I need you to tell me Lisa Roluns room number," I said quickly and she shook her head.

"I'm sorry, sir. I can't give you that information," she said and I began rubbing the back of my neck.

"I really need it, though. Have you ever made a mistake that was so wrong of you to make and you just want to get everything back the way it was?" I asked and she looked at me with sympathetic eyes.

"I'm sorry, I can't tell you her room number," she said and Harry opened his mouth.

"He's Louis Tomlinson, just tell him what it is," he said and she finally gave in.

"It's on the fourth floor, room 132. Good luck, Mr. Tomlinson," she said and smiled. I returned it and ran towards the elevator, Harry and Aryanna following suit.

As soon as it hit the fourth floor, I got off and searched for room 132. Once I found it, I went up to knock it, but stopped.

"Go on, mate. Knock, she needs to hear you out," Harry said and I pressed my knuckles up to the mahogany door, knocking a few times and standing patiently.

As soon as the door opened, I made eye contact with red, puffy, yet beautiful blue irises. She tried to slam the door in my face, but I put my foot in front of it so it wouldn't close all the way.

"Go away," she whispered and I shook my head.

"No, we need to talk," I said and walked in.

"Talk about what? You kissed another girl, there's not much more to say," she said and I closed the door, her backing away from me until her legs hit a table.

"Yes, I know that. But it didn't mean anything to me, I didn't even know who it was," I said and realized it sounded a lot better in my head.

"Oh, okay. That makes me feel so much better," she said sarcastically.

"No, I didn't mean it like that. That stupid truth or dare game. I was dared to kiss the person to my right, or I would have to drink alcohol. I remember how David treated you when he drank, I didn't want to make the same mistake he made," I said and walked closer to her, taking both her hands in mine. She flinched.

"Uh, I don't know whether to believe you or not," she said and I got down on my knees, both her hands still in my own.

"Please, I'm telling the truth. I would never intentionally hurt you, and you know that," I said and she looked into my eyes.

"I don't know," she muttered and my eyes filled with tears, once again.

"Please. Lisa, that was literally the biggest mistake I have ever made, I know how bad it hurts to be cheated on, and I will forever regret doing it to you," I sobbed and and she let go of my hands, squatting down so she was in front of me. She lifted my head up with her thumb, causing me to look at her.

"Louis, I've been hurt before. I know how it feels, and it doesn't feel good. I was told, by you, that I was loved. And I believed you. But in reality, do we really love each other? We've only known each other for a few months. I know I care for you, more than anyone else, but do you really feel the same way?" she asked and I looked down.

"Yes, I'm positive. You're the only one I want, the only one I need. Please, believe me," I whispered and she fully sat down next to me, crossing her legs and grabbing my hands. I looked up at her and her eyes looked as though they were clouded with thought, thinking about what to say next.

"You're the only one I want, too," she said and let go of my right hand, wiping away the tears that fell less than two minutes ago.

"Which is why I can't bear to see you cry," she whispered.

"Is there any way you can forgive me?" I asked and she looked away.

"I don't know, Louis," she said and I let go of her hands, cupping her face.

"How can I prove it to you?" I asked and she stood up, pulling me up with her. She wrapped her arms around her neck and I hugged her back almost instantly. It hasn't even been three hours, but I missed this feeling so much.

"You don't need to," she said and pulled away.

"What?" I asked, unsure if I heard her right.

"I believe you, and I apologize," she said and I was even more confused.

"Why are you sorry?" I asked and she ran her hand through my hair, stopping at the back of my head and keeping it there.

"For running off, not letting you explain. I've seen so many movies, read so many books where stuff like this happens and the girl runs off. I should've known it would've ended like this, so I'm sorry," she explained and I laughed.

"No need to be sorry, but I forgive you. What about you? Do you forgive me?" I asked and she thought about it for a few seconds before looking right into my eyes.

"Louis William Tomlinson," she said and I nodded.

"You are forgiven."
