Unexpected Love

Chapter 15[x]

Aryanna POV

"No! If you were a true friend, you'd tell me!" and with that I stood up and ran out.

I just kept running, until I heard footsteps behind me.

"Stop! Come back, please stop running!"

That didn't sound like Lisa.

That sounded like...

"Liam!" I said in shock when I turned around.

Okay, officially the best. Day. Ever.

"Are you okay?" he asked and I smiled like an idiot.

"Yeah, I just don't know where to go. I don't know how to get back to my place," I said as I wiped away a lone tear.

Liam rubbed the back of his neck while he said, "You could stay with me, if you like. My flat is just down this street, within walking distance."

I'm going to scream.

"Uh, yeah. That's fine, thanks," I said.

We began walking and Liam began conversation.

"So, how old are you?"

"19, turning 20 in May. I know, May is in, well, May and now it's September but, um, yeah." I added a nervous laugh at the end.

I mean, of course I was going to be nervous, this was one of my idols.

"Are you in school?"

"Yeah, I got into Manchester University,"

"Manchester? That's incredible! Great job,"

"Thanks,"

"Oh, this is my place. Come on in," he said and held the door open for me.

"Thanks, again," I said with a chuckle.

"If you want, I could give you a pair of sweatpants and a shirt? You don't look very comfortable to be sleeping in a dress," he said.

"Yeah, ok. I'll be down here,"

I looked around, this place was huge. The living room had two couches, a huge flat screen, and like, three coffee tables. The kitchen had literally three ovens.

Damn.

He came down with, as he promised, sweatpants and a shirt.

"So, what got you so upset earlier?" he asked and I sighed.

"I don't know, I guess I felt like she didn't trust me, even though we've been best friends for 15 years," I said and he looked like he actually cared.

"Well, I'll always be here for you if you need someone to talk to," he said.

"Thanks," and with that, I ended the night with a new friend.
