Lisa POV

"Come on, Louis. You're still doing these surprises?" I asked as he kept his hands over my eyes, leading me to a destination that was unknown to my mind.

"Yes, step up," Louis instructed and I stepped up onto a curb or a stair or something along that line.

I groaned and continued following Louis' instructions until we stopped walking.

"Okay, stand completely still. We're going to start going up at any moment," he said quietly, his hands still blocking my vision.

After a few short moments, we began moving up, as if we were on an elevator. Soon enough, Louis began leading me again before he stopped.

"Okay, take a look," he said and dropped his hands. I instanly gasped at the sight in front of me. We had a wonderful view of the beautiful city of Paris.

"Oh my god, it's beautiful," I whispered and admired the beautiful view before smiling at Louis.

"Yeah, being at the top of the Eiffel Tower has great qualities, especially the view," he said and sat down on the bench that was conveniently right next to where we were standing. I adjusted the red beanie that sat at the back of my head before smoothing out my matching red coat and sitting down next to Louis. I began scratching the fabric of my black skinny jeans before looking at Louis.

Two more days in France.

Two more weeks until Louis leaves to go on tour.

"I'll miss you," I said suddenly, yet quietly.

"What?" he questioned before his features saddened. "Oh, the tour."

"But I'm not going to be too upset about it," I said and he wrapped him arm around my shoulder, my head leaning on his.

"Why is that?" he said and I closed my eyes.

"Because it's your job. All you're doing is living your dream, and you're getting payed to do it," I said. All I've been doing the past few days is repeating those three words in my mind.

It's his job.

"Um, speaking of getting payed to do things we love," I heard Louis say after a few moments.

"Yeah?" I said and sat up straight, making eye contact with Louis.

"Do you like the idea of getting payed to spend time with me?" he asked and I looked down instantly, wanting anything but being reminded of that stupid contract.

"No."

"Have you asked Catherine if you could get out of it?" he asked.

"You heard her that first day, Lou. I don't want to get sued for backing out of some contract. Maybe if you talked with her about it, she would give in. I don't think she would sue one of the people she's getting paid to work with," I said, emphasizing 'she'. He looked at me for a few seconds before smiling.

"The lads and I have a meeting with management when we get back. I'll talk with her about it then," Louis told me and I nodded.

"I know you don't want me talking about it, but how long is your tour going to be?" I asked.

"This first part? A little over three months," he finished and I sighed.

"The first part? There are going to be other ones?" I asked, even though it sounded more like a whine.

"Yes, there are. I believe it's going to be a six-month tour in total," he responded and I frowned before quickly changing it to a warm smile.

"I'm so proud of you," I told him and he smiled.

"And I'm so proud of you," Louis said and I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.

"Why?"

"Because you've somehow been able to put up with me for quite a while," he answered and I laughed. I pulled my phone out of my coat pocket before standing up and walking towards the fence that kept people from falling of the top of the tower. I turned on the device before opening the camera app. The view was basically flawless. The clouds were not flat, in fact they looked so much more full than they did earlier in the trip. They laid atop a blanket of city structures and buildings. I snapped a few quick pictures before turning around to walk back to Louis, only to be met face to face with Louis, himself.

"I got a few good pictures," I said and Louis smirked.

"So did I," he responded and turned his phone towards me. His pictures looked almost identical to mine, but his had a ifgure in them. This figure was me.

They weren't bad pictures, they were actually really good. I smiled at the thought of Louis taking the picture of me without my knowing.

"What are you all smiley about?" I heard Louis ask from next to me. I handed him back his phone and we began back towards the elevator.

"You," I responded shyly and looked up, only to see Louis' cheeks flushed and a genuine smile spread across his face.

We were soon back at the hotel. I decided to lay out my clothes for the next two days before packing everything else into my suitcase.

I walked into the kitchen and took a glass out of the cabinet and filling it with water before swallowing a small amount of the refreshing liquid. I felt a pair of strong and comforting arms wrap around my torso from behind. I breathed in the scent of Louis' perfume. I smiled before turning around to face him.

"I love you," he said and I could feel the heat rise in my cheeks.

I leaned my head into his chest and instantly felt warmer in his embrace.

"I love you, too."
