Unexpected Love

Chapter 22[x]

Lisa POV

I barely opened my eyes before slamming them back shut, for the bright light in this room were just enough to push past my breaking point.

"Oh, you're awake," a sly voice said, with a dry chuckle.

I look up and see the same guy from the café and outside Louis' window.

"What the fuck? Why am I here?" I yelled and he quickly put his hand over my mouth.

"Shut up, we don't want anyone to hear you, or you'll be in more danger,"this guy said.

I shook my head before kicking him in the shin, really hard, and I saw him wrap his hands around the area I kicked him in, while he fell to the ground. I took this as my chance and screamed as loud as I could.

Louis POV

"Fuck," I kept mumbling as I was on my way to save Lisa.

Well, maybe not completely save her, but for now, yeah.

I pulled into an alley, the alley directly behind where this unknown being told me to be.

I walked up to a door and pulled it open, beginning to slowly walk towards a place that I didn't even know of. I heard an ear-piercing scream, that I knew as Lisa's, and sprinted as fast as I could to where I heard it from.

I tried to open the door, but it was locked. I banged on it, really hard, about three times.

I took out my phone and dialed the police, and when they said they'd be here as soon as possible, I called up all the boys and told them to come, I might need backup.

About seven minutes later, four broad police men showed up, one banging really loudly on the door.

I heard another scream from Lisa and then a muffled "Help!"

One of the police began knocking himself into the door, trying to break it open.

Liam was the first to show up, followed suit by the rest.

I began chewing on my nails, getting really anxious.

One of the more muscular police men tried next, going up and ripping the door right off its hinges.

I ran in to find Lisa unconscious, tied up on a chair, duct tape over her mouth with a bruise on her right cheek. I looked over to the right and saw an open window, probably where the attacker went.

"Lisa," I said as I approached her, hoping it would wake her.

I put my hand on her shoulder and gently shook her, and her eyes opened widely, and she looked scared.

She began trying to free her hands, but didn't succeed. I went behind the chair and untied her hands, and she ripped the tape off of her face.

She untied her legs and got up before backing away. From me.

"Lisa, are you okay?" I asked and stepped closer, and she backed away more, running into the wall behind her.

Realization filled her eyes and she ran up to me, engulfing me in a hug.

"Oh my god, Louis. I have never been so happy to see you. Oh my fucking god," she said, a small sob escaping her lips.

The rest of the boys walked in, followed by the four police officers.

"Miss, we're going to have to take you down to the office to have you answer a few questions," the taller one told Lisa.

"O-okay," she stated and grabbed my hand, and I gave it a reassuring squeeze.

I waited outside the room where they were asking Lisa questions, when Niall came up to me.

"You alright, Lou?" he asked.

"What? Uh y-yeah. Fine," I said, realizing I was picking up on Lisa's nervous stutter.

"I know it's scary now, but everything will be alright, I promise," Niall said and walked away after patting my shoulder lightly.

I sat down in one of the chairs and began playing with my fingers until Lisa came out.

When she did, I walked up to her and grabbed her hand.

"So, apparently I was drugged, kidnapped, hit in the face, and knocked out," she said and her eyes looked as if they were clouded with thoughts.

"Hey, look at me. It will all be fine," I said and she smiled, a tear escaping her eyes.

"I guess I'm just scared, like really scared," she said and we began walking towards my car.

We got in and I looked over to her. She was safe.

At least for right now.
