Lisa POVI continued turning on my phone to check the date, making sure today was actually the day.
The day Louis takes me to Doncaster to meet his family.
I checked once more, December 22nd. Five days before he leaves to go on tour.
I checked my reflection in the mirror once more before taking a deep breath, causing the image in the mirror to be covered by a small layer of fog. I felt my phone vibrate in my hand. I quickly looked down and saw it was from Louis.
I'm parked in front of your dorm building. Come out when you're ready.
I sighed and smoothed my navy blue polka dotted dress before picking up my grey duffle bag and walking outside the door. I locked the door before walking down the small amount of stairs and out into the vacant parking lot. Well, except for Louis' small, black Ford. The driver's side door opened and out stepped Louis. He took my duffel and set it in the back seat before jogging over to the other side of the car and opening the door for me.
"For you, m'lady," Louis said in a posh voice, along with a bow.
"Why, thank you," I responded and curtsied before giggling and stepping into the car. Louis closed the door and got in on the other side before starting the car.
"It will be about an hour an a half of driving, if there isn't any traffic," he told me and I nodded and checked the time.
Right after I checked to see that it was 12:57, my stomach decided to grumble so loud that the sound was almost inhuman.
"Someone's hungry," Louis said from next to me.
"I didn't really have breakfast this morning," I said quietly before my stomach growled, again.
"We can go through a drive-through if you want," he suggested and I nodded.
"Sounds perfect."
We both ended up eating our food in the car, but in the parking lot of the fast food restaurant, since Louis wanted to eat but not accidentally wreck his car in the process.
We left as soon as we finished and all too soon we were pulling into the driveway of a very friendly looking house.
"Here we are," Louis whispered happily and when I looked over at him, I saw him smile wider than I've ever seen him smile. He quickly got out and was able to get both our bags out of the back seat before I even opened my door to get out. I grabbed my phone from the cup holder and turned around to open the door, but saw that it was already open, with Louis standing right next to it.
I stepped out and followed him up to the front door. Before he could even ring the doorbell, the door opened to reveal a woman who I recognized as Johanna, Louis' mum. Louis instantly dropped our bags and wrapped his arms around Johanna's neck as she wrapped hers aorund his waist. I smiled at the sight before Johanna opened her eyes and noticed me standing there. She unwrapped her arms from around Louis and gave me a hug directly after. I smiled and hugged her back.
"You must be Lisa," she said after our brief hug ended.
"That's me," I responded, not being able to wipe the smile off my face.
"I've heard so much about you! It's so nice to finally see you in person! Come in, come in," she said and pulled us in, after I picked up both mine and Louis' bags.
"Here, I've got it, love," Louis said and took both bags from my hands.
"Oh, Louis, you two are staying in your old room, unless you feel uncomfortable, then Lisa can stay in the guest room," Johanna told her son and he smiled.
