Lisa POV

It's been about, I don't know, a month since that dinner thing?

Aryanna chose to let go what happened at the restaurant, and so did I. However, right now she was with Liam, for they have actually gotten really close ever since that night.

I had been the fucking center of gossip the past month. Every single girl, whether they liked One Direction or not, knew exactly who I was, and it freaked me out.

Most girls were nice, and congratulated me and Louis. But, there was the occasional bitch who threatened and emotionally hurt me for "stealing their man", as they would say.

Beth and I were currently in my dorm, studying for the monthly test we had in Music Theory.

I heard my phone ring and I stood up and walked to the kitchen, where I left it, to answer it.

That's right, I walked. No more sprain, victory is mine.

I saw the selfie Louis and I took at our date at the park, with both of us making really attractive (note the sarcasm) faces. I smiled at the memory and answered the call.

"Hey,"

"Hi, Lisa,"

"Hi...?" I said, unsure of why he was calling.

"Do you want to hang out today? It's only, like, 4 o'clock so we could order pizza, or something," he said and I looked over at Beth, who was looking down at her text book.

"Uh, I can't right at this very moment. Maybe later? Sorry, I'm studying. I've got a test tomorrow," I said and he sighed. I actually felt bad for turning him down right now.

Damn, a month can really affect someone's feelings.

Because I knew that I actually did like Louis, whether I wanted to admit it or not.

"Oh, okay. That's fine. But yeah, later? There's something I wanted to talk to you about," Louis said, sounding nervous, which also made me nervous.

"O-okay, I'll see y-you later. Bye, Lou," I said, actually nervously stuttering.

"Okay, bye love," he said and hung up the phone.

I walked over to Beth and she was smiling at her phone.

"Is it Niall?" I asked.

"Uh, yeah. He just loves to embarrass me," she responded.

"What'd he do?"

"Look," she handed me her phone, which was on twitter, and I saw it was one of Niall's tweets.

The caption read: 'Yesterday with my beautiful girlfriend.' The picture was a picture he must have taken while she was sneezing. I laughed and handed her back her phone.

"Wow, gotta love Niall," I said to her.

"Yeah," she said and I sat back down on the bed.

"How did you and Niall meet?" I asked her and she looked at me unsure, but then nodded and told me.

"Okay, so I was at a One Direction concert with my sister, when this girl, Catherine, pulled me aside and gave me this stupid contract to sign to be Niall's girlfriend for 12 months. Little did I know, it's been 6 months since then, and Niall told me he loves me. And I'm pretty sure I feel the same way back but even if I do, I'd still be getting paid to date him, and that I won't ever be able to get the pain of that away," she said and I told her the truth too.

"Really? I'm on a contract too!" I said and her expression read that she was shocked.

"Really, is Catherine behind it?" she asked and I nodded.
