Louis POV

The last thing I remember was her slamming the door and locking it in my face.

Was it something I said?

I just stood there for about ten minutes knocking and begging for her to let me in, but never succeeded.

I decided to give up and I went to my room. I saw Harry coming towards it so I quickly closed the door and locked it before he could come in.

I laid down on my bed and pulled the covers over my head and ignored the knocking at the door.

I was doing the same thing Lisa was probably doing at that same moment. It saddened me to think of it and her going through all the stress she already had on her shoulders and I added to it.

Shit, Louis. Why do you have to mess everything up?

Why was this affecting me so much?

I didn't realize I was crying until I looked down and saw a wet spot on the sheets under my face.

The knocking at my door eventually stopped, but the pain didn't.

About two hours later, I heard Lisa's door open and a spark of hope lit up in my stomach. Then, Harry came back and continued knocking.

"Mate, you have to come out eventually. Please, what happened back there? Lou, open up." He stated calmly. I thought I heard crutches outside of the door and I then heard a very raspy and depressed voice.

"Louis, open up. I overreacted. You didn't really do anything, you just didn't know exactly how to address the moment and it's ok. Please, I'm so sorry for making you feel this way. Just, please, open the door."

I stood up, my legs kind of stiff because my knees were up at my chest for the past couple hours. I walked to the door and opened it but almost cried at the sight in front of me.

Lisa's hair was in a messy bun, her eyes red and really puffy. The rest of her face was really pale, though. She looked really weak. Her shoulders were slouched and she was barely holding on to her crutches.

Her eyes filled with tears again as she looked up into my eyes and hugged me tightly. I immediately responded. Our first real hug. We just stayed like that for a while until Harry cleared his throat. We both looked over at him and his jaw dropped.

"You both look terrible, like there was just a storm in Lilo town." He said and Lisa and I both laughed.

"Lilo?" Lisa asked.

"Yeah, your ship name..." He responded quietly.

"Harry, it's fine. I like it, it's cute." Lisa told him assuringly.

"So, Lisa, are you still up for me bringing you out for breakfast?" I asked her, even though it was more close to lunch time.

"Yeah, and if I'm going to be staying here, maybe I should get some clothes. My wallet is in my purse in the guest room." She said and I shook my head.

"Lisa, I'll pay for your clothes."

"Lou, seriously it's fine I'll pay.

"No, Lisa I'll pay for your clothes."

"Louis,"

"Lisa, it's just a couple of-"

"You guys argue over the smallest things, it's weird but cute." Harry said and Lisa chuckled.

"Lisa, it's just a couple of jeans and t-shirts. I'm sure I can afford that." I said and she still looked unsure.

"Fine, but I owe you." She said and I laughed while shaking my head.

"Let's go!" I said and she chuckled.

"Lou, we're still in our pajamas."

"What will you wear?" I asked her.

"I'm fine with sweats and I can wear my concert shirt, I just don't want to show up in red plaid pajama pants." She said and I went into my room and came out with a pair of light grey sweatpants that were to small for me. She went to her room to change after saying a quick "thanks" to me.

I went back into my room to change into jeans and a t shirt. I walked past the mirror and saw that my eyes were really red. I shrugged and left my room anyways.

Lisa was already downstairs talking to Harry on the couch and then she threw her head back laughing. It was adorable.

I headed down and said, "Ready to go?" She nodded and followed me but stopped before exiting the house.

"Harry, want to come?" she asked.

"Nah, I'll be fine. You kids go have fun. Thanks, though." He said.

I was getting her bike out so I could put it in the garage when a shiny piece of silver caught my eye.

"Lisa, I found your phone." I stated as I pulled out her now cracked silver iPhone 5s.

"Oh, wow. Looks like I'll be getting a new phone, too. I'm paying for it," she said the last sentence quickly so that I wouldn't offer again.

I felt really bad. It's my fault she's in crutches and pain. It's my fault her bike is broken. It's my fault her phone is broken. It's my fault her friend is worried sick. What is wrong with me?

On our way to the café, the song 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' by Taylor Swift came on and Lisa began singing along.

"You like Taylor Swift?" I asked her.

"Yeah, she's my favorite," she stated matter-of-factly.

We showed up to the café and when we walked in Lisa's jaw dropped and she looked like she was about to have a panic attack.

"Louis, can we go to another place?" She asked.

"Why?" I asked and then a tall, auburn haired man came up to us.

"Hey, love. I haven't seen you in a while." The stranger said to Lisa and I looked at her.

"Hi...David."
