Lisa POV

I hate this party, so fucking much.

I'm literally just sitting here while everyone else enjoys their intoxicated selves. I actually don't even know where Louis is.

I stand up from my spot on the couch and decide that I need water.

I walk into the kitchen and find Louis.

With a girl.

Well, I mean. He's obviously uncomfortable, a piece of her hair wrapped around her finger while she walks up closer to him.

He tries to push her away but she just comes closer.

I need to fix this.

"Hey, babe," I said as I walked over to Louis and picked up his hand and intertwined our fingers.

"Hello, love," he said while kissing my cheek.

The girl in the playboy-bunny outfit walked away after seeing that, and I did a mental victory dance.

"Are you enjoying yourself at this party?" Louis asked me.

"Honestly, not really." I replied and he told me to wait outside while he talked to Niall.

I walked outside and two little girls came up to me.

"Trick or treat!" one said.

"Aw, I'm sorry girls. I don't have any candy," I said and they both frowned. My heart cracked a little at the sight.

"Okay, bye," the other one said as they walked away.

"I'm here, Gabriella," someone said behind me whilst wrapping their arms around my waist. I turned around to see Louis and he kissed my nose.

"Good, let's get out of here, Troy," I said and laughed.

He unlocked his car and I slid into the warm passenger seat and the familiar new car sent with a hint of spearmint engulfed me, and I felt safe.

He started the engine by sticking his key in the slot and we began towards a destination that I don't even know of.

"Lou, where are we going?" I asked and he smirked.

"It's a surprise," he said and I sighed, very loudly I might add.

We drove for about ten more minutes until we showed up at a beach side meadow.

I checked the time on my phone.

How the fuck can it already be 3:14 am? I don't even remember it being ten o'clock.

"Love, you look worried. Are you okay?" Louis asked next to me.

"Yeah, time just flew a lot faster than I thought it did," I said and he nodded.

"You did fall asleep on the way here, the drive was about, I don't know, two hours?" he said, more as a question.

"What? How did I not even notice that I fell asleep?" I asked and he shook his head and laughed.

"I don't know, Lisa. I don't know," he said.

We got out and walked over to the line where the meadow and the beach meet. That was the moment when I noticed that he had a duffel bag on his shoulder.

"What's in there?" I asked.

"Surprise," Louis responded.

"Ugh, fuck you," I said and he chuckled.

He ended up pulling a blanket out of the bag and laid it down on the ground.

When we sat down, I saw that we had a perfect view of the sky laid on top of the ocean.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"Well, I thought it would be cliché to watch the sunset, so..."

"You took me to see the sunrise," I said and he nodded. This was so cute, all of it.

"This is perfect, thank you, Lou," I said.

"You're welcome, love," he responded and my cheeks flushed.

Whenever he calls me that, I can't help but blush. It my guilty pleasure.

Louis put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him while I laid my head on his shoulder. Sleep took over all my thoughts.

"Lisa, wake up. Look," I heard a faint, high-pitched voice ask.

I look up to see the crystal moon hiding and all the stars disappear. The orange sun peeked up above the dark ocean and the sky filled with purples, pinks, and yellows. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Oh my god," I breathed out.

"Right?" Louis asked.

I stood up and walked closer to the water, taking off my navy Keds. The scene looked even prettier from where I was standing. I set down my shoes and walked up to the waves, just enough so that the water went up to my ankles.

Someone came up behind me and picked me up, running farther into the cold sea water.

"Lou, put me down!" I yelled and he snickered.

"If you say so," he said and I was dropped into the freezing liquid.

"Oh my fucking god," I said once I got up on the surface.

"You should've just let me hold you," he said and I went up to splash him but he came up close and took my hands before I could.

"You're so beautiful," he said and I blushed.

"Thanks," I said and he leaned in closer. Our lips barely brushed before I leaned in more, his soft, pink lips against mine.

I put my hands on his chest while he put his on my waist. And me, the girl who ruins every good moment, decided it would be a good idea to do what I did.

I splashed him in the face and yelled, "Race you back so shore!" before swimming as fast as I could to reach the warm sand.

I looked back once I was back on land, to see that Louis was just walking back.

"Fuck, Louis. My clothes!" I said when he came back. He went over to the bag and pulled out shorts and one of his white t-shirts and tossed them to me. I caught them and picked up my Keds.

"Where do I change?" I asked him.

"In the car is fine," he said.

I got in and quickly changed, getting out to tell him I was ready. He wasn't paying attention, instead he was on the phone. He didn't hear me open the door, so he didn't realize I was listening.

"I know, but I've only known her for a month and a half, could I?" he asked and paused.

"I know, but feelings like that don't just come this quickly," he said and nodded, probably agreeing with what the other person said.

"Okay, but I still think I should wait. I mean, love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right," he said.

I quickly got in, quietly closing the door behind me.

Does Louis love me?
