Unexpected Love

Chapter 28[x]

Lisa POV

"Louis, where are we going?" I whined.

It was only three AM, and we were walking hand in hand to an unknown destination.

"It's a surprise, and now that I've told you twenty times, will you ask again?" he asked and let go of my hand.

I shivered, for it was a cold December night, or morning, and Louis put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer.

We turned a corner and after only a few more steps, Louis opened a door and led me inside a building that was dark on the outside, but had many bright, white lights inside.

"Where are we?" I asked and he stayed silent, except for I small chuckle.

He opened another door and I gasped at the sight in front of me.

"Oh my god," I whispered.

An arena, a concert hall. The same one that was on the tickets that Liam gave me to the Taylor Swift concert.

"It's so huge," I said and Louis laughed.

"That's not the best part, trust me," he said and led me up on the stage.

"What's going on?" I asked, when all of a sudden, I was engulfed in a huge hug featuring everyone who was at the dorm room, plus some of my hometown friends.

"Guys! Oh my god, what's going on?" I asked again.

"Well, we realized that one of your presents required you to wait a few months, so we are now making up for it by bringing you here, but there is a bigger surprise," Harry said and smirked, before everyone except for me and Louis, who was now holding my hand, left the stage and all say in the front row seats.

"Louis, do I have every right to be afraid right now?" I asked and he laughed.

"No, but there is someone else here who wanted to wish you a happy twentieth," he replied and I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Hey Lisa, I'm Taylor," she said and I didn't dare turn around, I thought this was all some sort of joke.

"Lisa, say hi," Louis instructed but I stayed completely frozen, joyful tears threatening to spill at any moment.

Louis motioned her over and she stood in front of me, short blonde hair, electric blue eyes, red lips and pearl earrings, the perfection was even more perfect in real life.

And yes, I know that I made less than no sense but I was in complete shock.

"Happy birthday! I'm so excited that you're officially no longer a teenager!" she said and I smiled and felt an actual tear roll down my cheek.

"You're real, actually standing in front of me, oh my god, I can't believe this, you know I exist!" I said and she giggled and gave me a hug.

"You are so sweet, honestly. Louis told me about how you're always talking about me, singing along to my songs, only knowing my songs on guitar. It honestly means so much that you take time out of your days to memorize all my lyrics and chords and picking patterns. So, to thank you, I'm spending your entire birthday with you and everyone else. We've got an exciting day planned!" she said and I just stood there in complete and utter shock, realizing that just yesterday, she was in New York.

"You flew all the way to Manchester just to spend the day with me?" I asked and let go of Louis' hand to hug her back.

"Of course! And I can't wait to see you in those seats right down there in March!" she said and I let go, and by now my cheeks were soaked with tears.

"Lisa, do you write your own music?" she asked and I wiped off my cheeks and quickly cleaned my glasses on the bottom of Louis' hoodie that he's letting me wear.

I put them back on before saying, "Yes, I do a lot. I have two full song books, but I jut started my third."

Taylor gasped and asked, "Really? Could we go to your place and you could play me some?"

Louis looked hopeful, considering the only time he'd ever heard me actually sing was the second night we knew each other.

"Uh, I don't know. I don't really think my songs are very good," I said and Louis scoffed.

"Lisa, your singing is amazing, I'm sure your writing is spectacular, too," he said and Taylor took both of my hands and looked me in the eye.

"I'm positive that you're amazing, please?" she asked and I finally have in and nodded.

"Okay, let's go," I said and she squealed and followed me down the stage.
