Chapter 25

He's so fucking lucky for dying that easily. If Perrie knew about all of this while he was still alive, she would have made sure to make him suffer in the worst way possible. Talking about medieval times kind of torture. She'd cut him in half little by little, she'd burn him alive or freeze him to death, she'd pull out a single tooth or a nail every day and then throw salt on his wounds, so he'd die slowly and painfully. That's what he deserves. She can't believe she just let him pass with bloody muffins. It didn't hurt him enough, it killed him too quickly. 

She's thinking like a psychopath, she knows it. But she's just too angry at him. If he was only still alive so she can get an equal payback. Was he out of his mind? How could he want her since she was a child? He was double her age, old enough to be her dad. He was a fucking pedophile, and she was married to him. She slept in the same bed with him for months and she didn't notice him behave like that at all. He was too good at hiding it. For every time he's been an asshole to her, for everything he made her do, it was actually the least dangerous thing he could possibly do. He was much worse than she thought. Thinking about it now, she got away with cheating very easily.. 

Perrie is currently on her way to Alex's house in Manchester. She dropped Lucas off at a train station so he can go home in London. She asked him if he wanted her to drive him back, but he declined. After that emotional outburst at Mary's house, they didn't really talk much. Perrie wanted to apologise for threatening him, but then she changed her mind. She didn't want to come off as weak, because she's not. She didn't want him to think that he can just tell her anything and get away with it. She saw him getting scared of her in a second, and she liked the feeling of being intimidating. She was always the weaker, obedient one, but not anymore. She loves the feeling of being in control. 

As soon as she arrives at home, she slams the door angrily and takes a deep breath. She's still angry, all that tension is built up inside her and she just can't let it out. She wants to let go of it, but she can't. She's going to need some time to calm down. 

Suddenly, she starts crying, she breaks down in tears. She kicks off her shoes and throws her bag across the hallway as she leans back against the wall, slowly sliding down to the floor. There's nothing else that can help her right now. She surely can't just hurt someone to let her anger out, the only thing she's got left is her own tears. She's on her own now, she can cry as much as she wants. She always used to do this when she was sad or angry, lock herself in a room and cry for a while. Her whole body is in pain, and not physical, the emotional kind of pain. She can feel herself getting short of breath from crying so hard. Tears are streaming down her face as she lets out a painful scream. 

How does she get rid of this? It's not something she can see from the outside, it's on the inside and she can't do anything to heal it faster. Her chest is clutching in pain, as if her heart will explode from so much pain. She's under so much pressure, she's so stressed and she doesn't know what to do. She slowly stands up on her feet and goes in the living room, throwing herself on the couch.

"I'm home" - Alex shouts as he walks in, but doesn't receive an answer. "Pez? Are you home?" 

He saw her car in the driveway, so he guessed that she's at home. But he can't hear a noise coming from any room in the house. He spots her shoes and her bag in the hallway, so he puts his bag down and decides to start searching for her. He finds her in the living room, on the couch, fast asleep. She looks so exhausted. Her makeup is smudged and she seems like she threw herself on the couch as soon as she walked in. 

"Baby.." - he whispers, kissing her cheek. "Pez wake up.."

Perrie slowly opens her eyes and looks at him. Then she quickly sits up and starts rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
