Chapter 32

"I like this one, it has a big living room" - Perrie says. "Imagine Christmas time, with a huge tree in the corner" - she says, already getting excited just by thinking about it. 

"I like your thinking" - Alex chuckles and keeps scrolling through the pictures. "And it has five bedrooms, one for us and the other four for our kids. It's just perfect"

"Hold up mister, we haven't talked about this. I thought you wanted two" - she laughs. 

"Well I was thinking, why have one mini me and one mini you, when we can have two each?" - he suggests. "Plus we'd have enough players for family night games"

"Yeah imagine trying to find presents for four kids for Christmas and their birthdays"

"We can just buy all of them a pony and they can share it" 

"Oh my God Alex.." - she shakes her head. "Never mind, let's keep looking"

"You don't like this one? It literally has an inside and an outside pool" - Alex says with a smile. 

"I do like it, actually you know what? This is the perfect one. What do you think?" - Perrie asks him. "We can change the colours of the walls and some of the furniture, decorate it the way we like it and it'll be perfect" 

"Of course baby, if you like it then I like it too" - he says. 

"I love you so much" - she says, kissing him on the lips. 

"If you keep kissing me like that, I'm gonna be late again and you know why" 

"Okay okay" - Perrie chuckles. "Let's have a look at it tomorrow, shall we?" 

"I'll call the owner later and schedule a meeting" - Alex says and stands up, passing her the laptop. "I have to get ready now" 

"I'm going to miss you" - she says, pouting. 

"I'll miss you too baby" - he says and kisses her head. 

Alex goes upstairs to get his training kit ready before he leaves the house. Perrie stays in the living room and keeps looking up random things on her laptop. She's not going to go to work for a while because the renovation process in the building has started and she can't do anything there. If there's an issue or something, the engineer calls her on the phone and basically, Perrie solves the problems while laying on the couch and watching TV. 

It's been a week since their argument, and after that neither of them mentioned anything about Mia. Perrie was glad that she's finally done with that, but she was still nervous about Alex. She doesn't know if he thinks about her sometimes, she's sure that he wouldn't talk to her about it. And she doesn't want to ask because she doesn't want another argument. Things are going pretty good with them, so she doesn't need to ruin it. She's going to be happy with their situation. 

Earlier, they were looking for a new house together. It didn't take them long though, because Perrie had already saved a few, and Alex told her that he doesn't care what the house looks like, as long as she likes it, he's happy with it. Perrie went for something more luxurious than Mark's house. 

She gets a reminder notification on her phone and sighs. It's a reminder for a pregnancy test. It's been over a week since their first unprotected sex, so it means that she has to start checking for a positive one. Alex made sure to buy her a few for now, just in case. She takes one and goes in the bathroom. 

While she's waiting for the result, she starts thinking about the possibilities. Of course, it's either going to be positive or negative. But the fact that she might have a baby really soon is terrifying. She knows that she might not be able to handle it, but she doesn't know how to tell Alex about it. She knows that he's going to be supportive, he would never force her to have a baby right now, even though he gets really excited when he talks about it. She just doesn't have the heart to tell him.
